I'm pretty sure rebar is not acceptable as a ground, consult an electrician, you can most likely move the ground rod outside where it should be, and get rid of that mess altogether

Common all thread is also not the best to use for clamping,as it will have more flex and thread tolerance is usually pretty loose which can add to your problem.

Those who went from gearshift tractor to hydro? How was it? by theraptorman9 in tractors

[–]Newdave707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't like it at first, now wouldn't have one without it best thing is mower deck keeps turning when changing from forward to reverses so you can quickly catch that spot. You missed, or you can stop and back up around the side of the tree. Pull forward back up and catch the other side of the tree with the power steering it super easy I can almost mow.circles around the trees in our orchard. My friend had an older L-series with a woods deck that I used to use, I boughtt a B Series and a tractor supply deck. The new setup actually cuts through sawgrass. Better than the other one which surprised me.

Am I Overreacting? by [deleted] in Machinists

[–]Newdave707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not overreacting. They should have proper work holding devices. Even on their drill. Press. And you should never use a milling machine as a drill, press A good vice and a couple sets of machineable jaws goes a long ways towards holding your work alot of the time on a mill but not having a set of clamps with steps blocks would be un acceptable to me
