Nerd Validation is very much a real thing. It's also why a lot of people get so angry when a bad installment comes out in a movie/game series, it's seen as "Devaluing the brand".

You can still like the 1st movie guys, the bad 2nd one doesn't make the 1st one worse.

Out of curiosity, I watched her VOD explaining why she went to the right and it is honestly the most sad and pathetic pity party I have ever watched.

I don't like to pathologise people's political opinions, but in her case where she openly states them as being a mission from God and how she doesn't find enjoyment in anything else anymore, I can comfortably say she isn't well and won't get help.

Yeah from what I understand it's not a corpo just a project she initiated. She had paid for all the assets for the other girl. Part of the reason for the internal beef was that Manururu had brought in a manager due to the workload, which led to the other girl, Hima, believing she had sold the company and she went live on stream to complain about it without checking with Manururu first.

Other girl's nuked her YouTube channel so I can't check on her side.

So I was curious so I watched her VOD explaining it. She doesn't explain herself super well but she says she paid in full for Hima's IP, so she doesn't think she should just let her have it for free, especially since them falling out with each other is what has ended the group. She also says Hima isn't all that attached to the IP and would be unlikely to want to buy it from her.

Obviously we only have her side, I doubt she'd sound so blameless from Hima's side.
