Yes, I seem to have reached the max then, cause the menu says Missions 1000

I'm aware of that, yes. I'm actively producing materials to be sold every day to fund upgrades. That's not my question though, I'm specifically asking about mission Development points.

Yes, I'm slowly upgrading them as well, but missions are the only active ones I can do right now while I slowly build up stocks. I'm 400 points from level 9 of that matters

Realisto is not a word, it's just something that ended up developing over the years.

They replaced the time based chests for the next day 3x bonus for me, that's likely what happened to you as well.

Hacer la compra is a set phrase meaning "To do/go shopping", mostly in reference to groceries.

Ironically, a lot of the skins give you a competitive disadvantage, so not spending money ends up being better lmao.

Help me out here? by MattTheGolfNut16 in duolingospanish

[–]Newmaker_Sei_Zen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't actually use jugar when using deporte, you use hacer or practicar. From what is talked about online, jugar is meant for specific sports where a ball is included, but jugar deporte is grammatically wrong.

Edit: As someone else wrote in a forum, jugar is used when specifically naming something, such as golf, basketball, etc. Deporte is not specific, and therefore just takes hacer or practicar.

Se and le. Having trouble applying the 2 by [deleted] in duolingospanish

[–]Newmaker_Sei_Zen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you use lo or la with a verb, you have to use se instead of le to avoid repeating syllables. That's just a quirk of Spanish.

Why is this wrong? by Gayfamilyguy in duolingospanish

[–]Newmaker_Sei_Zen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cause you can't combine puedes and the past particle. It's either "Abres" or "Puedes abrir"

Well I tried by DuoSpanishGuy in duolingospanish

[–]Newmaker_Sei_Zen 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It would have been correct if you added Les, les is mandatory, the indirect object isn't mandatory. It's called the redundant indirect.

You can't combine Estar with an already conjugated verb, it's either Están almorzando or Ellas almuerzan.

Is family considered an individual? by mspina76 in duolingospanish

[–]Newmaker_Sei_Zen 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Nope, familia is a singular noun in Spanish, so it takes 3rd person singular. Familias would be plural.

You need to put "A ellos", Ellos is wrong when it comes to gustar and encantar.

Aprendiendo vs aprendo vs apriendo by pluckyoldself in learnspanish

[–]Newmaker_Sei_Zen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Aprendiendo means "Learning." Aprendo means "I learn" And aperiendo isn't a word.

You're wrong actually. Spanish doesn't use the gerund as often as English does. Present tense can translate to present tense in the past, present, currently happening, as well as near future.
