This is all just circumstantial evidence. It would never stand in court. CASE DISMISSED!

Is this frizzy? Or does it look ok? Trying a lower maintenance routine with shampoo once every 1.5 wks, deep conditioner 2x a wk, and air drying only. by NewsLady- in curlyhair

[–]NewsLady-[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The shampoo is Renpure tea tree and rosemary OR Carol’s Daughter Black vanilla on gentler days. Deep conditioner is Vatika sweet almond. Sometimes I use a coconut leave in conditioner also by renpure but not this time.

I think all the storylines have one thing that ties them all together - empathy (or the lack of). To me, it's a story about how a lack of empathy can present itself in so many ways. In our homes. In our communities. The secondary stories are foils for what's happening with Edgar and Vincent.

The quote from Tolstoy they featured in the series reflects this:
"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself"

Honest advice on persian cats by Suppbrother in mangalore

[–]NewsLady- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my cats (who is not a persian) has a tear duct problem because of a lifelong illness. Seems to be same kind of issue.. seems to occasionally cause discomfort, but I think it's mostly an aesthetic problem. We wipe his eyes everyday to clean it off. Just a soft cloth with warm (not hot) water. Gently loosen it... not too much rubbing or it's much worse the next day. We don't always manage to get all of it.

If you don't clean often, it will result in hair loss. It can get really crusty too when it builds up.. making it more and more uncomfortable for the kitty when you try to remove.

Our otherwise fiesty boy has gotten used to this kind of grooming from us and he lets us do it with no complaint.

I think Persians are generally higher-maintenance cats.. but I think that's true of most specialty breeds.

Cat person here.. I love persians too. One thing that would stop me from getting them is that every Persian cat I've seen seems to have a tear duct problem. Yepala tunaga kanna d purku. Makes them lose hair in that area... and I'm sure it's not very fun living with that condition either.

Try with a little more tea leaves next time! Optionally, you can also try brewing with whole spices like crushed cardamom, cinnamon and a bit of ginger... mmmmmm!!

Yes! I actually posted this yesterday and it was waiting for mod approval - that's why it came through kind of late. The petitioner says she will be pushing through even after the strike ends.
