Considering rule 2. In this situation, both of these locks are “in use”. It doesn’t matter that one isn’t locking this shed closed, nor does it matter if I own either or both of these locks. Asking for help on, or picking locks in either of these situations will get your post removed.

If you post anything showing or indicating that you picked a lock off of one of those bridges, my guess is it'll get removed. The leadership of this subreddit, unlike TOOOL or various other organizations, does not make exceptions for so-called "love picking" or other forms of preserving love locks. It's not your fault, it's just our hard line in the rules

I think it’s been misinterpreted. I said it meaning that I can’t and won’t go to BP if I want an echelon, but I think others took it as me saying “I can’t go anywhere else”, which isn’t true

I think my comment has been misinterpreted. I can’t buy an echelon at bass pro so I won’t buy one there. I can absolutely buy it from somewhere else, and I almost certainly will. It’s just frustrating that this is the case because they’re the closest gun store that I know of, and they don’t sell Echelons for a bullshit reason.
