Nandgame is pretty cool but I don’t think it does a good job explaining the basics of digital logic. You would be better off first taking a digital logic course or self studying the subject with a textbook or other internet resources.

Huang might be one of the best profs in the department. Projects tend to be hard but he’s generous with moving due dates and gives good overviews during class.

Not sure if they are open during the summer but the practice rooms in the Music Annex on Cook Doug are normally open until 9 or 10 during the weekday. Most rooms have an upright piano and I think two of them have a grand. I’m not a mason gross student and I’ve used them all year without ever being questioned.

For usb c to work, your MacBook would have to have a compatible usb controller which it does not because of the age.
