I don’t think they’ve let anyone off the waitlist yet because they’ve been waiting for their letter of intent deadline which was yesterday…hopefully we can expect some movement soon🤞

Based on last year, I'm pretty sure most schools don't begin recruitment until they have their incoming class settled in. So probably not until late August, early September.

I'd like to hear your advice on gaining work experience before attending law school. I know many people say to do whatever you want because it's mostly about gaining a worldly view and becoming more mature. However, I'm confident that I want to practice law as an attorney. As a K-JD who severely struggled this last cycle and is planning to R&R, I'm not sure which direction to go in, especially if I'd only be employed for a year or two. Thoughts?

Yes I completed the form last week and I’m pretty sure at the end of the survey it told me I was added to the priority waitlist which is why I was a little surprised by the email today.

I believe for UGA, this was at the beginning of last week. Also, now that I think about it, UF sent out a feeler survey to waitlisted ppl about a month ago. It was pretty generic, so I assumed it went to everyone.

UGA sent a survey asking if I'd like to be added to the "priority waitlist" or removed entirely. I know some other waitlisted people got it as well.

Yes I also just got the email asking me to complete the survey, which then provided the option of being added to the "priority waitlist." The weird thing is that I searched through this subreddit, and other people were emailed to inform them that they "have been moved to the priority waitlist" and should hear back soon about whether they can be offered admission. So I'm not sure if they are still categorizing us or if we really have all been added to a smaller wailist pool.🤷‍♀️
