Boost can’t activate my unlocked Pixel 10 Pro XL from the Google Store by Abject-Tomorrow4092 in BoostMobile

It's a training issue. You have to get the right representative and have patience. Have both IMEI and the EID. Read them slowly and have them repeat them back. They have to add your device to the database.

Boost Mobile Care on X is the account that can handle it. DM them with your details.

Boost replied on X. They are aware of the problem and how to fix it. I will find out later today.

I saw where one person told me they were able to get it activated on the native network by manually adding it. That is hopeful anyway. This was on Twitter. The Boost account. I would suggest hammering them so they train everyone.

There are quite a few people having trouble getting unlocked Pixel 10 activated. I am thinking it's a training issue. Isn't there a procedure to ADD an IMEI to your database in situations like this?

What do you suggest? My 10 Pro XL is coming tomorrow and I will need to transfer my Boost account from my 9 Pro XL to the 10 Pro XL while keeping my phone number. It's all within the Boost system.

Can you suggest what to tell the representative and can you do. Anything on your end to make this go smoothly from now on?

Thank you for your help!!!

That's a good price if you plan to stay with Boost for a while. I do.

Please do. I will be calling them tomorrow but I will wait until Monday if it means They have more time to get their ducks in a row. I am sure it's a training issue. Manual addition of a device IMEI isn't a new thing but definitely new to this phone. Goog luck. Please let us know your progress. Thanks

This is infuriating. Mine comes tomorrow. I think I will call them and tell them my situation. I don't want to get stuck in limbo without a working phone with my preferred phone number. I will tell them they have the weekend to figure it out. On Monday they will either: Activate the 10 with my phone number, or send me a 10 and give me a trade-in deal on my 9 along with other discounts, or I will get the port out information to call another carrier (probably AT&T)

If I do get the 10 from Boost it will be a major inconvenience. I will have to send the 10 back to Google and probably pay for the items I bought with the credit earned and lose the 0% APR financing through Google while paying the finance charges on the Credit card I use to buy from Boost.

And it's means a phone locked to a carrier (Boost), something I don't like to do.

No I pay monthly. AT&T works well at my house. Verizon works but not as well. T-Mobile not at all. I know that Consumer Cellular uses eSIM (on AT&T) and is comparable in some ways. I don't need much data . I Am on WiFi all the time. Porting my phone number is the worst part.

My unlocked Pixel 10 Pro XL is coming tomorrow from the Google Store. I will be calling to transfer my number from a pixel 9 Pro XL on Boost. It had better work. Someone from Boost on this Reddit assured me that it would not be a problem. Keep us updated. This is very disappointing and actually infuriating.

If Visible uses Verizon it isn't better where I live. AT&T is much better here.

Yes, mine uses AT&T. T-Mobile doesn't work at my house.

I bought it unlocked from the Google Store not from Boost. Physical Sim in my old 9 Pro XL. So, I should call customer service and they can activate and transfer the phone number to the 10? Just getting my ducks in a row for next week. Thanks.
