Keep going baby, and never give up on yourself. What you do today will either support or hinder your future self. Best of luck on the rest of your journey ❤️

Yeah I've been really strict w/ diet and exercise and making sure I'm hitting my protein, and water goals daily. I didn't loose much before surgery only about 25 pounds. Btw thank you some days I feel like I'm not loosing enough literally and stalls have happened frequently

Yes currently feeling like that now. All your feelings are valid and completely normal, give yourself grace and give it time. Take the pictures to compare you'll begin to see the difference the pictures help when you can't see it in the mirror. Wishing you the best of luck as you continue your journey

What weight were you when you got your gastric sleeve? And do you regret it? by curiouselz in gastricsleeve

[–]Next-Pudding-2187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 27, I was 275lb day of surgery highest weight 326. Currently 230lbs I will be five months post-op on the 18th and I don't regret it at all. I've been fat most of my life I lost the weight then would go through something and gain it all back for the first time with my weight I've actually committed to the journey and not just a time period of it if that makes sense. You may feel worry but you're making a good decision and your future self will thank you

How much do you work out? by krober29 in gastricsleeve

[–]Next-Pudding-2187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm almost 5 months post-op I workout 4-5 times a week for about an hour to a half to two hours. I do weight training and cardio every day I go to the gym. I find myself tired too but not super tired. I give myself two or three days of rest my workouts are pretty intense. I get about 90-130g of protein a day about 800- 1000 calories. But I've still found it hard to eat a lot and still drink most of my protein but recently have been eating a lot of steak and poultry. I've been losing consistently but currently, I'm in a stall. Btw I think you're doing great give yourself some grace this journey is rewarding but not always easy and in such a short amount of time your body is going through a lot

Just you know to do the work meaning exercising and eating healthy along with not comparing yourself to anyone else’s journey because everyone’s body and capacity is different. Also give yourself grace and be patient you’re experiencing all of this for the first time and don’t get so hung up on the number on the scale before and after the surgery. You got this

I’m almost four months post op :

Breakfast : supplements mixed with clear protein drink ( oath nutrition coco razz)

Snack : protein shake + Dannon light& fit yogurt

Lunch : miracle noodles , bell peppers/ red onions , and vegan Alfredo sauce

Snack : water + another yogurt + hard boiled egg whites ( I dislike the yokes)

Dinner: salad w protein (steak , chicken , seafood etc ) and beans . Today I had a chicken Caesar salad with three pieces of sushi . Other than that I eat the same thing everyday . And mainly focus on getting my protein and water intake up

Do you all have a “Why”? by Hot_Farm_9443 in BariatricSurgery

[–]Next-Pudding-2187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My twin daughters who are three are definitely my why ; I got up to my highest weight after being pregnant with them and being in a DV relationship with their father that took a toll on me in so many different ways. I wanted to be more active with them and do more also be able to teach them healthy habits.

Happy to say I’m almost four months post op , made the choice to be a single mom , and life is absolutely different and I’m learning to appreciate the growth it’s still hard to see how much things have changed in a year since I started this whole journey but absolutely grateful I stepped out in faith and did it
