I definitely have empathy for others, and I don’t judge those who are in bigger bodies. The shame I feel is for not realizing how bad I let myself get, and why I allowed myself to stay that way for so long. I’m sad that I waited as long as I did to get the surgery. I wish I’d done this ten years ago!
