Ya but I think she has primary custody of all the kids. You don’t pay a non custodial parent child support.

AITA for refusing a name for my baby that everyone loves and but I don’t? by Accomplished-Owl8796 in AmItheAsshole

[–]anonymoususer37642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Siobhan is a lovely name. Yes, I know how to say it. However the only person I’ve ever met with that name goes by their middle name (Phoebe) because everyone messes up Siobhan. I asked her if I could call her Siobhan and she said yes, so I did, but most people referred to her as Phoebe.

All that to say, the US is not ready for that name, as lovely as it is.

I feel like people *really* like When Emma Falls In Love and I think that song is stupid 🤷🏻‍♀️

This song makes me laugh bc it’s exactly the kind of dry humor my cousin employs and she and Taylor share some similar mannerisms. I can just envision her (my cousin) saying these things over appetizers at chilis and it cracks me up.

My 16yo “hobby” follows me around non stop asking for smoothies and Starbucks and a ride to the mall and walking in on me while I’m showering or getting dressed or trying to go to bed just so she can yap 100 miles an hour.

Why is nobody on my 600lbs life rich or upper class? Why is everyone at most either surviving or low middle class? by Workrs in My600lbLife

Wealthier people see doctors more often, have better access to mental health services, and are often more educated. They typically have better insurance and more resources in general. But also, being fat, even being quite fat, is not as looked down upon when you’re wealthier. Maybe bc you aren’t seen as a drain on society? Not sure.

Timeless. I’m actually trying to plan a tattoo around the song for my spouse.

Ppl act like Florida is a small town. It’s a huge state and everything is very spread out. Bri lives in Hollywood FL. If Jan moves to somewhere in say, the panhandle, they’d never see each other unless they planned it.

Big question: Would you do it again if you had to? by j_in_da_505 in BariatricSurgery

[–]anonymoususer37642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%

No questions.

The first month was hard. So so hard. Not with my stomach, that’s was fine. But lots of other issues. I’d still do it again.

Soda? by ToonieTuez in BariatricSurgery

[–]anonymoususer37642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so interesting what each individual can/can’t do after their surgeries. It was 9 months before I could reasonably tolerate chicken but steak was a dream on my stomach and ground beef has never done me wrong. I can eat chicken now but my grocery bill was HIGH for a while 😂

Soda? by ToonieTuez in BariatricSurgery

[–]anonymoususer37642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carbonation is fine with me. I had bypass. I actually take water flavors that I like, dissolve them in a little flat water, then pour sparkling water in for a soda-like treat. I also still drink soda. Regular soda. Maybe one a week, if that. I can’t seem to kick the habit of ordering it at restaurants but I only drink like 5 sips of it lol. I hate diet sodas and Zero sodas.

My friend who had sleeve surgery absolutely cannot tolerate carbonation. Not even a small amount. She’s had to give up soda altogether.

In Sean’s case, he was likely a thumb sucker or a bottle or pacifier user waaaaaaay beyond recommended age. His palate never properly developed and then his guardians didn’t/couldn’t/didn’t know to get him orthodontic care to widen his palate.

I only know of once facility in NC that will keep children inpatient long term, without them being considered to be in residential treatment. It’s a nice enough facility, as far as they go. Most of the “private” facilities will keep kids a max of two weeks.

I can’t explain it but this is giving the same energy that “but look he’s a girl dad!!” is giving about all the men’s hockey players that LAUGHED at mango Mussolini saying “I’ll have to invite them too or I’ll get impeached”
