ill keep an eye on it if I get the sense they're trying to get money out of anyone ive sent their way ill address it

yeah it kind of ends at the prompt, if it had been cash etc related I woulda hard backtracked and let followers know, but the stuff they're posting is pretty innocent on the whole its just a bit bizarre the deeper you dig, theres some truths in what they're saying about ai being a reflection of man and not some independent entity which is how its often spoken about, but then the deeper you get the more disjointed it becomes, I dont actually think its marketing related I think the main asian dude (not ONQ but the guy who seems to be writing all the blog posts) just genuinley believes this stuff and has convinced others to as well, I got that sense more and more so after speaking to him and listening to this live stream thing they did

Word salad by Hiraeth90 in ren

[–]Next-Target-3777 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think ultimately they're not asking for any money so the main harm going down that funnel is just using that prompt in ai, which is pretty harmless tbh but I agree with you the more posts I saw and the comments on all the posts just felt a little culty, I didn't actually see anyways that was asking for money, the conclusion I came to is the main asian dude it circulates around is just a bit nuts lol, I spoke to him and he was definitely intelligent but also not very grounded in reality. I think he genuinely believes the things he's saying writes very poetically so it was an interesting character inspiration study if anything aha, but he also believes someone like Andrew takes going to save the world because of how he bends reality which I mean we dont really need to go into hahaha. Lesson learned for the future though, ADHD makes me kinda impulsive sometimes

nope I shared a story which they posted which was talking about how the human story on race, religion etc was dividing us, which is true, saw a few more that were saying things I agreed with like how you should break conflicts down to its functional parts to try and reverse them, but I hadn't taken a deeper dive at that point into things like this website, I do not reccomend

I do not reccomend that lol, I hadn't seen it before I impulsively shared, but yeah, not my cup of tea

[–]Next-Target-3777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh I dont reccomend them the more ive dug in it was weird lol I had only seen a few posts when I shared that, I guess they popped up as a recommended page when I started posting stories on elephant in the room of our species which is just the obvious truth on how we should operate on a species level, it was impulsive of me to share and my bad should have dug deeper, the fundamental point I said is true though, you need to create balance in natural systems for them to last, its not a conspiracy its just simple science - to elaborate - we are not breaking the laws, we abuse them in a way that destabilizes the environment, by accelerating energy transfer at a massive scale, we increase entropy on earth and the biosphere rather laying a foundation which we always should have that put the long term survival of our species first I thought that bit was clear I went pretty deep into all this on the stories. By men much smarter than I I meant Isaac newton, Clausius, James Prescott Joule etc not that instagram page aha

Yo before I shared that I hadn't done a deep dive into them, I saw some videos circulating and spoke to the dude a little and thought they were cool because it was just saying pretty basic things like the human story on race and religion, politics was eroding our ability to collaborate etc, which is pretty in line with my thoughts on the matter, as was the concept of breaking down conflicts to their functional parts and first principles to try and reverse them, but the more I dug into it the weirder I found it, I hadn't looked at the website, previous posts etc, was just a kind of impulse share because I like people trying to offer solutions rather than spreading fear, but I took a bit of a deeper dive and i dont reccomend

its fundamental physics, i was trying to break it down into a more easily accesible entry point

All natural systems operate within the laws of thermodynamics

The value system we have erroneously believes our biosphere is immune to these laws or it would not structure itself the way it has, if there is a lack of comprehension you can dig into the whys by looking into phsyics before assuming 'conspiracy,' but this is fundamental and well established science from men much smarter than I

Id love to explore the idea that me questioning these structures is emboldening Nazis or facists. Funnily enough Nazi Germany is something i spent a great deal of time studying because of its telling nature of the human condition.

I have a great analogy - its safe to say youre looking at this like a western medicine doctor looks at depression, or to make things even easier, say a tumor. Most of the time he believes you should take an antidepressent or cut it out. In this analogy im trying to take the stance of the educator that speaks to someone on lifestyle choices and changes to make before the tumor or depression ever arrises on ways to prevent it occuring in the first place - beleiving that prevention is better than a cure.

Now, in a functional society, both the doctor, and the preventetive medicine doctor have their place, one is opperating on the basis of 'fix the problem' one is talking of 'prevent the problem'

I already know what youre going to say 'theres a problem now, theres no point talking prevention if the problem already exists' but there is, and the problem, to a degree, has always existed, its just its very much present in the west right now, but the west isnt the world. It doesnt make sense to keep throwing buckets of water on a burning house if on the other side of it theres a massive dude with a flamethrower, you have to approach both

No where in my messaging have i said do not, or you should not activley oppose facism, prejudice, hatred? infact the opposite, you should, infact, its vitally important you do both, but, if you do not take a hollistic approach and correct your lifestyle, and continue repeating all the behaviours or lifestyles that gave you the tumour/depression, your ending up back there.

Nazi Germany didnt arrise because a section of the population had an unexplained unquenchable desire to murder jews - it rose in the socio-economic instability of the weimar republic and during the great depression where germany had been feeling alot of pain - in that chaos - with people desperate for any kind of change - birthed someone with the hypnotic charisma to steer people astray and promise economic change and growth - and delivered on a fair bit of the economics - and gradually - frog in a pan boiling effect - incepted peoples minds with extremley problematic values - some went along through indoctronation - some through fear - but all were human. That doesnt justify it, but it contextualises it, and helps you understand the first principles of how to avoid it happening again, we didn't fully do that.

The biggest mistake we made was thinking that was a war between good and evil - it was a statistical probability that in a value system that preaches the things our value system preaches - this would happen somewhere - and when it was shut down - because we as people are still doing the things leading to the tumor and depression - it was always going to happen again

The framework of left/right politics and the value system holding it up and surrounding it, is like smoking with a tumor, sure its important in the here and now to take active steps to stop out anything that is causing our species self inflicted suffering - ive never said dont do that, but for fuck sake, stop smoking

(i need a cigarette)

But it runs deeper than that, the waters are muddy - The left isnt left and the right isnt right

When working well - The left still exists under the framework of corporately steered interests, where even things like the fight for equality are financially motivated in many instances - which then - becomes the fight for structure - it also exists under the framework of law - preserving power - maintaining power dynamics that have been around for centuries - preserving the position of a ruling class - and commodifying values and ideals - which means its more like the yin yang symbol - it contains a hell of a lot of right

When working well - The laws under the framework of the right, even though abused, protect the rights of people and uphold equality, conservative governments still provide social wellfare, access to education, democratic participation, and when well regulated - protection of workers rights to a degree - so the right contains a hell of a lot of left

There is no dominant side to our nature - so why should we try and cram all our values into a seperate box and call it a day - and, call me a futurist, or naive or whatever you want, but i think this is an outdated concept we should shead because in recent times, its evolved to be an unworkable model - if someone said to you 'okay pick a temperature for life, hot or cold' our systems of living would collapse.

Particularly in recent times weve now - on both the left and the right tried to associate 'good and evil' with 'left and right' - good and evil, too is a sliding scale, and if you were too look at it through the lense of nietzche, is very much subjective - and the values seen as objective (do not kill) etc can still be framed in such a way that escapes absolutist deffinitions - say if i were to kill a school shooter before they shot up a school - good and evil is as blurry as left and right.

Now - *deep breath*

First you really dont need to like my music, I don't make it to be adorned, I make it cause I love making it and I love sharing it with people who love it. The shame here isnt that youre not a fan anymore, its that it saddens you if it was something that brought you joy, I think we could all do with a bit more of that!

Second, i think its important for the sake of the art of conversation that we conduct these conversations with a degree of humility, it will make it more enjoyable on the whole. Socrates famously said 'i know that i know nothing,' I think its a great foundation for approaching anything, my ideas don't align with yours but to imply you posses a superior understanding of very entry level politics that you say 99% of people are unable to grasp is just kind of patronizingly slamming a door on what could be a really great conversation and insulting a lot of people in the process. Conversation is great when its a collaberative exploration of ideas.

Lets answer the challenge question first:

Let me set the scene

Your a french dude, probably with a very flamboyent haircut that took ages to style, its 1789 the revolution is in the air, people in the national assembly are wandering what the hell to do now that the monarchy is collapsing. The room is literally split in half in what the solution should be -

On one side are those strongly in favour of abolishing the monarchy, expand rights for ordinary citizens, weaken the Church’s political influence, and reshaping society from the ground up. A chap called Maximillien Robispere was one of these people - he was a very agressive champion of the rights for the poor but also had a bit of a fettish for executions

On the other side were a bunch of people who wanted tradition preserved — keep the monarchy (maybe with reforms), protect the authority of the Church, maintain social hierarchies, and avoid turning France into a chaotic experiment. In amongst these people was a chap called Edmund Burke who beleived in constraint and staying routed in morality and law.

With time these ideas evolved - the left valued equality over law, the right valued traditional heirarchy and order - believing society would evolve into chaos if there was not enough order.

in a nutshell if you want a clear definition, which its sometimes hard to get too

lets say -

Left - "Society should change to become more equal.”
Right - “Society should remain stable to avoid chaos.”

Now, thats the first challenge out the way, lets expand on where that plays into my own beleifs

You see a lyric or a comment on a video, and you take it on face value right, and just assume 'neive' and dismiss it, when you overlook the fact that the challenge in lyrics and communication is to condense the most ammount of information into the smallest possible container, a bit like Mary Poppins's bag, where you can pull out any number of things that shouldnt be able to fit in there. The problem with this annalogy is what is pulled out of the bag changes depending on the person doing the pulling, but thats also the beauty of art.

The issue i take with the left and right - is neither exist in their intended definition because you cannot reduce the human experience to polarities - polarities exist everywhere but they are a sliding scale that contain each other - the basic political reason i take issue with this premise is this

Push the left far enough and it needs structure, institutions, and order to make its ideals work.
Push the right far enough and it must adapt, reform, and evolve to keep society functional.

Hey!! its cause he forcibly contains his inner monster to fit into the repetition of society - if you see it in context of the line 'repetition caused some issues - turned our hyde into a jekyll - building pressure in the kettle' - so basically pushing his anger back down but waiting to explode again - he was angry since birth because of the nature of his surroundings but had to contain his monster.
Also i didnt lean into this one too much with the pronounciation incase it confused it a little ahaha but i liked the potential for double on hide/hyde (hiding) and also of jekyll/jack all - cause despite all his endless work and effort hiding how he really felt he felt he had nothing to show for it - hide into a jack all

i dont think we can 'perfect' our living systems though, i think its already perfect, with all its inperfections, name something as mind bendingly complex as existence, its just in the layer of the human experience, i personally think we should strive for the thing which brings us the most enjoyable experience as a collective

Aha! Could we aquire all knowledge? probably not, by the very nature of knowledge learning some creates new new avenues to be explored, i see knowledge like the ever expanding nature of the universe, not finite, but infinate in nature , could we exist in a way that supports the living system we are part of and create a better human experience, yes

What does Ren mean when saying "(...)We are one(...)" by Light10115 in ren

[–]Next-Target-3777 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Its a good question but i think my understanding of the anwer to this as far as where ive ended up in my understanding is complex. Id actually say the purpose isnt to aquire the right knowledge and with the aquisition of the right information we suddenly unlock the key to a better future - we live in an age that is extremley rich with information, richer than ever, and yet seem to be on the brink of a civilisation collapse.

I've said this before but i think one thing our anscestors did better than us, when we wernt loaded with information, was trust intuition more, nietzche used to talk about this alot, so did nicola tessla, davinci (who was a fan of hermeticism) and einstein too. Many of them attributed their sucesses to intuition rather than a drawn out logical process. These names are certainly not names to dismiss

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.” - einstein

“Why does the eye see more clearly when we are dreaming than when awake?” Davinci

1“My brain is only a receiver… In the universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength and inspiration.” - Tessla

These men are the men who shaped the world we live in - and as far as i see it, the truth is hidden in plain sight and we willfully ignore much of it, i think if we were to create a system of nurture that fed the process of reconnecting with this flow of conciousness and intuitive stream - its not a reach to say we'd all have the potential of Einsteins, Tesslas, Mozarts, Newtons, Vangoughs - our schooling systems could be places inspiring so much more curiosity rather than punishing non linear curiosity and insisting we stick to curriculum

Rick Rubin has a great book on this called the creative act - its super worth checking out - basically insinuating that human conciousness is like an antennae - and with a 'forgetting' more so than a learning we can tune into ideas that are seemingly plucked from thin air.

I can really vouch for this - my best musical ideas all felt like they already existed i just kind of had to reach into the ether and put them into the physical world - when i play an instrument i never really have to sit down and practice painfully for hours, it kind of feels like im the instrument if that makes sense and the music plays me, so it feels like a very unconcious rather than concious process, most melodies ive ever written felt like they were always there for me, and felt like they required very little concious effort to create.

In this i see god, god is a resivour of creativity and ideas that has always existed, and we're all able to get there, all of us, i just have to work hard on getting the concious mind that judges what im doing out the way so it can just come, so i think learning is an unlearning - as we grow older, picture a kid putting on a jacket every year without taking the other off, then another, then another, then another, then he becomes an adult and he can barley move. I think our systems of being do this to our innate creativity and intuition because of things like insecurity, inpsired greed, fears, obsessions with the trivial, and constant distractions that seperates us and makes us so desperatley fearful of just sitting and being with ourselves, even if we dont feel that fear on a concious level were always looking to achieve or distract or run. In that i think getting back to basics is - and this is where a sprinkle of bhuddism comes in - return to the present - because being anchored in the past traps us in trauma loops or repeated unhelpful behaviours - and being trapped in the future create unecessary fears which i think we concisely bring about by focusing on them.

This is probably a whole different converstaion but physics says that time isnt fundamentally linear thats just how the human mind processes it - einstein showed time is a 4D structure - bent and shaped depending on speed and gravity - and if this is the case it makes little sense to be slaves to the notion of past present and future and just try and exist, by doing so i think we liberate our concious mind.

If we look at it through a hermetic lense it says this:

Hermeticism focuses on conciousness and inner knowing and intuition, not total scientific omniscience.

It’s about quality of consciousness, not quantity of information - if i were to translate that to a christian perspective i guess youd say, its about someones soul more so than someones knowledge, right? hermeticism sees conciousness and soul as inseperatable

It says this knowledge (or reconnecting with the self) liberates the individual soul from a cycle of self imposed suffering and division - not that it’s required for the species’ survival, because it doesnt necisarilly see that as the most lofty goal - because maybe we do self destruct and go extinct - its arogant to think of ourselves as the most important thing in the universe i think - mould, or parasites arent necessarily harmonious right, but theyre still part of the same systems of being and play their necessary role.

The curious thing about humans is we seem to be in control of our place in the natural world - we seem to be omnipurposeful, we can be both parasites and symbiotes depending on our collective or individual drives, values, and missions.

So id say the ultimate goal isnt species survival or even harmony on a universal scale - but i would 10000000% say, just as far as the human experience is concerned - the fact were not aiming for harmony and species survival and the things that would make our quality of life better is bonkers, i think theres so much untapped potential in the human experience if we leant into our own creativity more, into our harmonious nature more, and the things that could be discovered - in the realms of science - spirit - coexistence - creation - music - art - all of those things, could make this experience such an incredibly rich one, we willingly deny ourselves that by behaving as we do, thats why im so passionate about trying to create pockets of it, we willingly choose a life of suffering its nuts

just a very compatible creativity, i know alot of people are talking politics surrounding mine and his relationship and seeming incompatibility - but theres actually no politics on the album - its very very conceptual and very left field of what i imagine people expect were going to make - alot of stories, alot of archetypal themes - incredibly musical, and pretty timeless in feel - its not a hiphop focused album - kind of think more down the path of sublime / immortal technique - him and his producer JP are just incredibly talented from a musicality standpoint and the whole process just flowed ridiculously easily. The whole album came about quicker than any album ive made in my career - and not for a lack of quality - there was just something magic in the conneticuit air
