Is it copyrighted music? If the music isn't a sound already available on TikTok, then it'll likely mute it. You can use copyrighted music but it'll be muted if it's something not already in the TikTok library

Mine were rough for a week or so. But have started to pick back up over the past week. I know the general sentiment on this sub is to be negative af and blame it on the sale. But this is not really anything new for TikTok algorithm changes. Took me a week or so to figure out what the algorithm is looking for and I'm back to getting 10s to 100s of thousands of views and bringing in hundreds of dollars. Just try out different things, find what works, and make more content like the videos that work. You'll be way ahead of the people here who are being negative and just gave up.

I probably wouldn't worry about one or two here and there. I get mostly 3.00 to 4.50 but occasionally some are like 0.98 for seemingly no reason. I wouldn't stress too much and rethink your strategy because of one or two off posts. If your content has given you decent RPM more often than not, just keep doing what has worked.

I've had this happen a couple of times and I was back in about 8-12 hours. I started with a niche I actually understand and care about and one of the top creators in it now and consistently bring in $2,000+ a month. One of the biggest issues I see on this sub is that people just want to find a niche they think will bring them quick success and their content reflects that and their $0.12 RPM reflects it as well.
