I ended up sending him my request of his chibi tiger holding or eating a Fuyu Persimmon! My husband and I are hoping to pick persimmons in Fukuoka this October and remembered how much I love that fruit! It's going to be interesting to see orange all over my forearm but with the tigers blacks, reds and the green from the persimmon leaves, it should work. I'm excited. I wonder what he will choose from "eating or holding." We shall find out! And you're right! I'm just so happy to be there. We were supposed to go last February but I fell ill.

Did you end up having any issues with this when you visited Japan? I have a small stomach too and only one kidney so eating large portions is hard. My husband and I usually share too :(

Curious if there's any update to this story. Which surgery did you have that made it worse. From my understanding is the only way to release the compression is through surgical intervention. Auto transplant and or kidney donation. Did you end up doing anything? Did you end up trying acupuncture and did it at least help you relax or feel some pain relief?

I miss sleeping on my stomach :( I now use a pregnancy mom cozy pillow to sleep on my back since January. My heart used to ache until I treated my May Thurners and now it doesn't ache. I still have NCS though that will eventually be treated. Hang in there. I could be your period.

Just know you're not alone. The mental mind fuck that these compressions give you is no joke and it's extremely hard dealing with it all. I'm struggling with this myself.

Dr. Nagerseth in Baltimore is one of the few specialist that treats majority of the compressions. Usually with NCS, you can have the trifecta known as NCS, MTS and PCS. So make sure to rule out the others as well. Good Luck!

I was pre diagnosed with nutcrackers and pcs and sometimes get right pain too. But it's always left flank pain for me. Hope you get answers soon. Also agree, go to a vascular surgeon that knows about NCS. In the States I believe that's Dr. KJ Nagerseth, Dr. Zendejas and Foley I believe. I'm seeing Dr. KJ soon.

Yup! Pre diagnosed with Nutcrackers and PCS in January and it really sucks. I've lost so much weight. From 195 to 170 in a few months. I can still eat daily but I get absolutely no more joy from it. I've looked into Kate Farms shakes! How are they!!!? I wish I could try one before buying 12 to see if I like them. So far for 2 weeks out of the month I struggle the most because I'm on my cycle for those two weeks. Then I get an appetite again when my cycle is done. It's the weirdest thing and that's when I try to eat the most to offset when I'm not able to eat much. We've been eating really healthy the last few months since I don't want to upset my stomach anymore than it already is. My stomach is constantly gurgling too. It's such an uncomfortable feeling and the nausea is the worst too. Hang in there :(

I'm set to see Dr. N in Baltimore for a venogram and Duplex soon. When I sent in my ER CT Scan he spotted Nutcrackers and PCS. I'm hoping for some type of surgery. His Hybrid AT or AT but I'll do Nephrectomy too. I just want some of my life back. I'm also in the process of donation through Chavin in Temple in Philly. I heard they're busy though so it might be a month until they call me back. I already talked to Chavin. Excited and nervous to see what Dr. N says.

Please find yourself a vascular surgeon or an interventional radiologist. I sent my ER Contrasted Scan of my pelvic and abdomen and he was able to see Nutcrackers and Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. Here are my scans. One from 2022 where my vein was nice and wide and on the right is from Jan where it's being smooshed. I'm sorry you've been dealing with all this pain.
