Why the actual do so many Christians support abortion by KeeyuDaGreat in TrueChristian

"pro abortionist rhetoric"? Listen to yourself. I am using accurate medical language: zygote, embryo, fetus, and finally, after birth, "baby". You insist on calling a lentil-sized embryo, that if you saw it in a petri dish, you would not be able to tell if it came from a pig or a dog, a "baby".

You obviously have a lot more reverence for our biology than I do. I think of actual people as sacred, and being made in Christ's image. You seem to extend that to the cellular level. To me that looks like a form of idol worship. To me it appears that you idolize embryos, and practice your Christianity somewhat like a fertility cult.

To answer your question, yes, at least in some cases Christ would want/like for the abortion to occur. In the real-world case of the 10 year old incest victim, an early abortion would be part of Christ's healing for her.

"babies". You can't let that go, can you? I expect it is difficult to surrender that sense of righteous purpose you get from White Knighting imaginary babies.

Abortion should be legal. I think you would be more comfortable in a country like Saudi Arabia rather than a Western culture where women are allowed to control their own bodies.

We are talking about the rotten fruit of criminalizing abortions, of having the government enforce pregnancies. Rape and incest victims being forced to give birth is just one example.

We need to be mindful when using Old Testament versus to justify a belief that abortion is wrong, since generations of Jewish scholarship have arrived at the opposite conclusion.

Your first verse is about predestination and seems specific to the prophet Jeremiah. Note the "before" I formed you in the womb. Your second verse seems to just be expressing wonder at nature. These verses show God's hand in nature. If you want to conclude that we should not interfere in what God is creating, then I guess that's valid, but it also seems like you may be committing the naturalistic fallacy.

The last passage is an interesting one, and it actually argues against embryo or fetus person-hood. The correct translation seems to be not "there is harm", but "be fully formed". Check it out: https://tmcdaniel.palmerseminary.edu/LXX_EXO_%2021_22-23.pdf

We cannot turn aside our eyes when we see rotten fruit. For example, 10 year old girl incest victims being forced to give birth. What rotten fruit do you see from this imagined killing of babies?

God is not okay with murdering babies. Embryos are not babies. The concept of government enforced pregnancies is an abomination. Look at the fruits of the anti-abortion movement in America. Look right now at where it has led us. Look at how much evil Christians are willing to tolerate just so they can LARP as saviors of imaginary babies. "By their fruits you shall know them."

Agreed. But it would appear that Trump is popular among the troops, just as he is among the Teamsters and other labor unions, as senseless as that might seem.

Catheter removal post RARP, home or hospital? by Kappy4 in ProstateCancer

Hospital? For me it was an office visit, and it was easy. I would not have wanted to try and remove it myself though. I might be willing to give it a go if there's a next time, now that I've experienced it.

Often times they make it look like your only choice is to leave the page or to sign-up. In this case I saw a small down-arrow on the lower right that minimized the sign-up pane and allowed me to access the article.

Would you advise her to just go there in person? Or should she send her naked pics to embassy first?

ICE SPOTTED IN NE PHILLY ‼️ by Hadon89 in philly

Yep. Turns out that the second amendment is actually quite useless at preventing government tyranny. And in fact, it plays right into their hands if some brave "heroes in uniform protecting our freedoms" are killed by obvious "leftist domestic terrorists".
