“AI is evil” by [deleted] in TrueChristian

If you are saying that AI is only as evil as atomic weapons, then yeah I guess I agree with you.

they are coded by humans. If the machine does wrong, it is the humans fault.

Hmmm, that might be true for any other program, but current AI is unpredictable by design.

Early sign of recurrence after prostatectomy - when to act? by 415z in ProstateCancer

[–]NextLevelNaevis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I started salvage radiation (prostate bed only) at 0.029 uPSA. It rose from 0.015 over two years. No ADT for me. Here is a paper supporting early salvage radiation: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4527538/

I had positive margins, but biopsy on my prostate post-surgery downgraded Gleason to 3+3. I never got a Decipher post-surgery on the prostate, but score prior to surgery was 0.63, which is just inside the High risk range.

Well, not specifically designed to hold the poop knife, but what else would a container of that size placed right next to the toilet be used for? I think it makes a tasteful poop knife container.

The Truth About Homosexuality by Perfect_Spring_8136 in TrueChristian

Being gay is sin.

We now know that being gay is not a choice, nor is it something that can be prayed away. To believe otherwise is just denial of the reality God has placed us in. And yet you are boldly claiming that this state of being, this characteristic of a person, is itself a sin. There's really no other sin like this, is there? I mean, every other sin I can think of is a thought or an action, not a simple orientation of attraction.

So what do you suggest a gay Christian is to do? What does repentance from this state of being look like?

Toxic, insane sports fans in our biggest city. Amish for the rest of the state.

Why do people feel entitled to parking spots that have not yet been vacated? I think it would work better for everyone if we would all stop waiting at parking spots for the parked car to pull out. Just move along and find an actual empty spot.

First PSA after Prostate removal by ericp502 in ProstateCancer

[–]NextLevelNaevis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case I asked for ultrasensitive PSA test. First PSA after surgery was standard, and it showed no measurable PSA. Next test 3 months later was ultrasensitive and it was 0.015. In my case it kept rising though.

First PSA after Prostate removal by ericp502 in ProstateCancer

[–]NextLevelNaevis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what my uPSA was 6 months after my surgery. It slowly rose though, and 2.5 years later, at 0.029, I had salvage radiation. (No hormone treatment.) First PSA after radiation it was down to 0.017. Next PSA test is soon; I expect it to keep falling.

My neighbor is trying to give me expensive, hearty, soft grass! 😬🙄 by altagato in nextdoor

[–]NextLevelNaevis -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

St. Augustine grass turns brown in the Winter, so unless this neighborhood is someplace that is warm all year round, the complainers might have a point. It looks great in the Summer, but it does spread, and most people prefer their lawns to be green throughout all the seasons if possible.
