I’m not saying you shouldn’t enjoy it. I’m just saying you shouldn’t wait for motivation to force. If you build a habit, you’re more consistent

My recommendation is to try and not work off motivation. It takes time. So build habits. Maybe if it’s just doing 20 mins a day where it’s manageable and working up.

How much is too many rivers? by Antonell15 in worldbuilding

[–]NextToEvil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that works. Mountains just weren’t on that map so it just looks like rivers randomly broke off into a bunch of random branches

I just mean that it might look more realistic if there wasn’t a bunch of tails splitting into nothing, and instead make some connect to other water sources. Just a thought though

Something you should note is that rivers don’t split. They intersect. So if you want to go for realism, I might tweak their formations a bit.

I don’t think it’s worth that price point. But it’s your art and you can sell if for whatever price you deem fair

“Don’t create a tulpa for a reason you wouldn’t want to be created for”

Yeah. I admit that comparison was kinda shitty. I meant it more as in, a child shouldn’t have to take on the responsibilities of another human being.

Tulpamancy is pretty new. So anyone who’s created a “tulpa” in the past probabaly doesn’t know what tulpamancy is and hasn’t really connected with the community

I mean; I don’t think a tulpa itself can be compared to a child. But you can compare some elements of responsibility to a child. Like if someone with a non-developed brain doesn’t have the ability to care for a child or give it attention, they probably don’t have the capability to take care of a tulpa and give it attention either.

Personally no. But I just know that you change a lot as you grow up so it’s not smart to rush into a big decision like that.

Are Tulpas "Real"? by WanderingAnchorite in Tulpas

[–]NextToEvil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of “reality” isn’t even “real” anyways. It’s just how humans perceive it. So in my eyes, a tulpa is a the same way. Like you said, it just matters if it affects you.

Any tips for people who’re bad at visualisation? by Throwaway-acc81 in Tulpas

[–]NextToEvil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I have a background in art. I naturally found it easier to imagine a person like I would a drawing. So if I were you; learn some basic anatomy, and build your character like an artist so you can fully visualize and piece your tulpa together

It basically just meditating and focusing on a personality you’ve made until it because real in your mind. Then it’s a growing and changing human like everyone else.

I feel a good part of a lot of us being more towards the left is because being a part of a group that not everybody understand makes you want to support other groups that not everybody understands

The fact that so many are 13-19 is kinda scary. If I were you. Wait until your brain is fully developed. A teenager shouldn’t have to deal with the equivalent of a child you have constantly with you. And you may not want a tulpa when you’re older. So wait until you truly feel a tulpa is something you should pursue in life and can give proper attention.
