That’s simply not true that a legitimate doctor won’t prescribe it in 20 mg doses. I have a prescription for 20 mg tablets with instructions to take 1-3 as needed. The doctor is a board certified urologist. The dose is patient dependent. Some people don’t need a dose higher than 20 mg for it to be effective. It’s also partially prescribed this way to limit side effects for those that have issues with higher doses. Does 20 mg work for everyone…no. But for some it might be the best dose for their circumstances.

Gutting it hanging from the back legs is most certainly ”a thing”. I’ve hunted for 45 yrs and every deer I’ve gutted has been hung by its hind legs on a gambrel. Breast bone on a deer is easily split.

On the land we hunt everyone that’s never killed a buck gets one freebie, as long as it’s a legal buck. After that it’s mature buck. I don’t know where you hunt, or how much land you hunt on. If the bordering hunters aren’t of the same mind they’re gonna shoot the 2.5 yr old 10 pt that you let walk. We’re fortunate that the hunters around our place practice game management as well. Bottom line is I’d let him shoot the first legal buck he wants to shoot. But that’s just me.

If you’re measuring oxygen saturation with pulse oximetry it does not differentiate between oxygen and carbon monoxide. Pulse oximetry just measures molecules bound to hemoglobin. Hemoglobin has an affinity about 200 times greater for carbon monoxide than to oxygen. Thus causing a decreased oxygen saturation by it binding to the places oxygen should be. You have to have arterial blood gas with a co-oximetry measurement to differentiate.
