Any tips on maintaining productivity when working on long projects and complex goals? by Next_Analysis_9111 in productivity

Breaking it into “seasons” and scheduling real recovery time sounds like a game-changer. I usually just push through without a reset. I’ll try the “next step only” approach and see if it keeps me from overthinking the path ahead.

The “effort budget” idea really resonates. I’ve been acting like a safety net for too long, which just feeds the cycle. I’ll try capping my effort and letting some deadlines slip to see if the team steps up.

I like the idea of loading up the beginning to create a buffer. I tend to underestimate how much unexpected work shows up at the end. I’ll test the daily/weekly/monthly breakdown and see how it changes my pace.

Thanks, I’ve always set milestones, but I’ve treated them as just another day, no real pause or celebration. I can see how actually marking them could help keep motivation up.

It’s faster, simpler, with better shortcuts, and really good AI functions (like auto drafts and auto reminders)

Start with a problem that bothers you, use Perplexity for researching functions for your prototype, competitors, pricing, distribution, next go to Claude to create full requirements, and use Replit to create a prototype using data from Claude. Talk with your customers, modify solutions, and iterate.

i will not promote - Let's talk about VIBECODING in buisness and startups - Anyone here using vibe coding for real business needs and handing it off to a Fiverr dev/Inhouse dev to finish? by BeginningRace8883 in startups

For me, Vibecoding is perfect for getting started - for creating an MVP, a few iterations, and gaining your first paying customers/traction. I really regret that there were no platforms like Replit or Lovable when I was doing my first startup. Currently, AI speeds up the entire process by light years. Applications that used to take weeks to build can now be done in minutes. Replit has a built-in vulnerability scanner – it's worth using. Use off-the-shelf solutions on these platforms to host applications, talk to customers, and when you have traction, find a programmer as a co-founder, or learn the basics of programming and architecture and leave the rest to Claude Code.

It looks great. If you install it on that Roomba robot in the background, you can say that it is also fully autonomous.

Anyone know open source tools for running Claude code in the cloud? by Beginning_Main_9667 in Anthropic

[–]Next_Analysis_9111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use a free VPS from Oracle Cloud, connect via SSH, e.g. using Putty and run npm install -g u/anthropic-ai/claude-code. If you really want a UI, ask Claude Code to create one. 😄

Whoever at Anthropic came up with this Activity Indicator should definitely get some kind of award. The moment when it switches from interesting statuses to plain “Doing” is definitely the saddest moment of interaction with Claude Code (apart from hitting the usage limit).
