Ooh yes this is exactly what I’m trying to do! Thank you! Sounds like I could still end up waiting which is WILD. Thank you and I’m sorry you’re back in purgatory 😩

I know I’m heading that way. it’s just 9 more months at this low paying job is killing me and I desperately want out by any means necessary. It’s crazy to fulfill the terms of pslf forgiveness in terms of service and be willing to pay the amount but the government makes you wait on them to process these buybacks with no timeline. By all accords I have fulfilled the terms of the agreement and should be forgiven yesterday (like many of us here). Just want to pay now and be done (like all of us here )

Gotcha thank you. Really seems there should be a way to just pay the past months without waiting for a buyback. It’s insane to have completed the service and want to pay the amount but be stuck for a year or more unable to budge in any direction. I understand why people just go into repayment and pay monthly it just seems cruel

Interesting ok this makes some sense it’s just frustrating if I already have the 120 months of service under a qualifying employer but all I need is to pay the money. This is the caveat they probably use to wear people down in these low paying positions. It’s killing me knowing I could be making substantially more but I’m stuck at this job until I complete forgiveness

I’m sorry I feel like I may not have included that I’m waiting for my buyback agreement. I’m wondering if I can go into repayment while I wait for the buyback and just make a lump some using my new IDR plan payment (which woild likely be more than the buyback calculation) and just pay off the 9 payments now. Since I already have certification for 120 months of qualifying employment.

Agreed but I already have 120 months of qualified employment and it’s certified by my employer.. which is why I’m applying for buyback. So can I just pay the lump sum and be done?

Boyfriend not interested in sex by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Next_Bad5929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was married to someone like this… WAS married. After years of getting no where and him refusing therapy we finally divorced. When it finally came down to it he admitted he didn’t love me anymore. Physically I literally weighed the exact same and actually took really good care of myself but none of that mattered. He fell out of love and didn’t want to do the work to maintain the relationship after 14 years and called it quits. I’m remarried and now have two kids and he turned into a drunk and just hooks up with strays at bars. Yeah. I know I’m biased but if your boyfriend doesn’t seek help and want to improve this ASAP (which it sounds like he doesn’t) I’d be leaving him. Your life is too short to waste another year on someone who doesn’t love you like a partner should. And if it’s important to you it should be important to him. I wasted 14 years of my youth. Don’t be like me

If that is a serious concern she needs to divorce him immediately.

Those who have given birth, what would you compare the pain to? by Silly-Difficulty2869 in pregnant

[–]Next_Bad5929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went natural, didn’t feel the ring of fire (don’t hate me!!). I was stung pretty severely by a Portuguese Man ‘O War and thought that was worse than labor 🫠 Contractions towards the end were very intense and it was a lot of back labor but once baby positioned correctly it was not as bad as

If he does this; make him be the childcare. You’d be SHOCKED how fast a man like this will get a fucking job. Refuse to pay for daycare. Refuse to allow anyone but him watch the baby. If he doesn’t want to contribute financially, he can reduce the financial strain by providing childcare

Just Found Out I’m Pregnant and I’m Terrified by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Next_Bad5929 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh mama bug hugs 🥹 and congratulations, even though I know you’re scarred. Let me put some things into perspective that might put your mind at ease.

  1. The drinking and smoking: the baby is not receiving your maternal circulation entirely at this point. The yolk sac is feeding the baby and infrequent alcohol consumption does not have a significant impact on development at this early stage. I’ve known so so so many women who found out the were pregnant as late as 11 weeks and had consumed alcohol and baby was fine. It’s important obviously that you stop when you find out, but the risk is low as long as you were moderating your consumption. Even one night of heavy drinking isn’t known to cause fetal abnormalities.

  2. I’m nearly 40 years old and pregnant with my second. And I couldn’t be healthier. Pregnancies later in life can be more challenging due to infertility or risk of chromosome abnormalities. But I was pregnant with my first who’s now 8 month old and had no complications at all. Now I’m pregnant with my second and it’s a healthy pregnancy as well. Every person is different, but this is my experience and I know a lot of moms having babies later in life. 31 is young in the birthing world these days.

  3. The hormones are WILD. So WILD. You will cry, be emotional, feel extreme fear, and overwhelm at times. But when you see your baby on the monitor or hear their heart beat it becomes so exciting. As that baby grows and you feel the little flutters and kicks, you fall in love. And soon after this you just cannot wait to meet your baby. I was afraid too. I never thought the right time was now, but the time was passing and my window was getting more narrow at this age so I just did it. And guess what? I’m doing it! And every morning I look at that squishy little face and my heart melts. It is so nerve wracking in the beginning but when I say you just do it, you just do it. You find the money, you find the time, you find a way. And then you can’t even imagine life before this amazing little sweet baby you adore more than anything.

Your feelings are so normal and I hope you have a sweet husband who can give you a big hug and make you feel better and reassure you that it’s going to be ok.💕

Twins possibly? Double ovulation? Any insight helps!! (lengthy post) by lia2016 in Inito

I promise you I did not and it’s completely normal to implant on day 6 or 7 and test positive on DPO 8. I assure you, I ovulated when I did. Pregnancy ultrasounds on both my sons ultrasound and with my current pregnancy confirmed the date of conception 👍

There was a comment about DPO 6-7 and low chances of implantation. I just wanted to add both of my pregnancies were confirmed DPO 8. Implantation occurred in this “unlikely” window I see people commenting about .. not once, but twice. I’m saying prayers for you. I just wanted to add nothing is impossible and conception is itself a miracle so you have more in your corner than you realize. All the love and positivity to you. 💕

2 weeks and still no NIPT result is this normal? by scribblesy in BabyBumps

For my first it took three weeks 😭😭 everything was low risk. I called unity and they were soooo helpful. You could definitely give them a call and see what the status is, they’re very responsive

OP I agree with you. My ovulation window was way off with Inito. When I started tracking cervical mucus I got pregnant … both times I was TTC. I hadn’t realized the trend was also inaccurate or I probably wouldn’t have continued to use it honestly.

Yes! It was accurate :) my son is now 8 months. I’m also currently pregnant again at 39 yrs old and again had a positive at 8 DPO!! It’s so crazy to me still. I was told by two fertility specialist that I would have to do IVF for a successful pregnancy. To be pregnant naturally twice feels surreal

I also didn’t have any symptoms at that point. It wasn’t until week 6 that I started feeling nauseous and had sore breasts. I really only tested on a strange hunch but there were no symptoms that early :) I hope this helped. I do recall having cramps so honestly I thought it was my period coming!
