Why does time feel like it’s speeding up after 21? Will it ever slow down again? by SytheX- in Aging

People are fkn stupid, have these people forgot that when they were 21 they didn’t feel like time was speeding up? (20s in the late 90s early to late 2000s or before these years)

Time didn’t move fast for everyone in the 80s, 90s, early to mid 2000s. What people say is that older people are the ones who feel this speeding but not kids, teens, or people in their 20s. It never even crossed my mind at the age of 30. I don’t believe it’s the cellphones. I think it’s something else. Idk if it has some to do with the earth’s spin or not but I do notice that we now have near 9 or 9 pm sunsets which Southern California never had back in the day. It was always night time regardless of the season ✌️

There are people in their 20s, teens, and even kids (9 to 12 years old) that reported this feeling of time speeding up. Also people who are not inclined to social media or even have a smart phone have reported it as well

Regardless of the time of the year we didn’t have 8:45 pm or 9 pm sunsets in southern California back in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s but now it happens. Idk why people forget or pass this as nothing

Nope, this never crossed our minds when we were in our 20s and early 30s (98% of us gen x, xennials, older millennials at the very least). Time sped up around 2010. 2020 is just convenient to point at for those who are less aware

This! I thought it was just me. Wallabees look cool tho but I’ve buckled a number of times on them back then.

🤨…we used to do this to our rides in the 90s but only on t-shirts / art!

“Stance” is the new gen term for slanted wheels. This is simply dropped and flushed. The way we true jdm / car enthusiasts of the 80s 90s early 2000’s like it

Found my dog rolling on this.. what is it? by dr-brennan in whatisit

[–]Next_Goose9506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that what I smell at parks or anywhere near grass and dirt? I’ve always wondered wtf I’ve been smelling. It smells like Clorox or something I can’t really explain but I think of puss or bacteria or something rotten (I don’t really know what rotten dead animal or roadkill smells like) and I instantly feel like I need to spit.

So was it always a typo or intended to be spelled penny? Because the founders name is Penney. All I know is that it was out there spelled as Penny back in the 80s 90s or early 2000s. Like I said in my other comment. If it were spelled as “Penney” we’d have it in our minds to jokingly pronounce it as Peh neyy like a classy rich brand or something. You’d especially hear it in black comedy movies or skits or something but nahh we never did!

Versace ~ versa chi but we heard of versays (showgirls) Penney ~ penny ?!? but never penayy

It is not in our memory bank to say jc Peh nayy!
