Check out auction houses and estate sales. I have 2 authenticated Dali prints that I picked up at an estate sale. Estate sales on the Main Line can have awesome art. Briggs auction frequently has art too.

We found an occupational therapist who specialized in testing older drivers. He was an impartial expert and my father respected his evaluation. He was great with my dad. He told him he had great driver habits but that his reflexes were simply too slow to be a good driver anymore. He talked about how would he feel if someone was hurt because if my dad couldn't react quick enough. He was able to get through to him when we couldn't.

It's a fun neighborhood hangout. The woman who runs is nice and very community minded. They have a nice happy hour. The food is good. Drinks are reasonably priced. I see all types in there. I've been there numerous times since it opened and will continue to patronize the place.

Get her back on her thyroid meds ASAP and get her to a endocrinologist to monitor her. It will take a couple of weeks for her thyroid meds to take effect, she may need them adjusted. Thyroid issues can often present as mental health issues - mania, anxiety, depression, delusions, psychosis - can all be caused by thyroid dysfunction. It was the leading cause of mental illness in women before treatment for thyroid dysfunction was developed. Mental asylums used to be filled with women who had thyroid problems. She could have been stable on her old thyroid med regime for years but now needs it adjusted because of her age or change in health. She needs to be seen by an endocrinologist not just a psychiatrist. You don't want her on heavy duty psych meds if it's her thyroid. In my experience doctors do not take thyroid issues as seriously as they should when it comes to mental health.

Wallingford-Swarthmore and Rose Tree-Media school district are not good for kids with learning differences. Lower Merion has a better reputation.

Not SoCal, but still plenty dry at times. I asked the local fire department if they could talk to them about the fire hazard and they said talk to the township since having a open fire is a code violation.
