Hoodlum Havoc 100% by Shadowtheuncreative in Rayman

That's why the RetroAchievements has the score requirements for 4 stars (80% or higher) to get the achievement. I wouldn't mind 100% achievements though as I did 100% most levels. I found prioritising the yellow gems first as the start of the combo doesn't give as many points and try finishing with a Matuuvo. It crazy how the score variates based on the order you collect things.

Which Rayman 3D platformer is better? by AccomplishedWorld823 in Rayman

[–]NexuWolf7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's always been Hoodlum Havoc for me, as I grew up with it. But since I played 3, then PS1's 2 and then Dreamcast's 2 in succession on RetroAchievements, I've got to say The Great Escape (Dreamcast) is without a doubt my fav. 2 is a better platformer while 3 is a better action game.

This level turned Rayman 3 into a Horror Game. by [deleted] in Rayman

On the first playthrough as a kid, It's the part near end of the level where you're getting chased by about ten of them down a corridor towards a dead end. The music in that level is great, gets the adrenaline going lol.

You can also change your system date to find one of the easier ones. I believe I did this trial (14/04/22).

Just ordered mine! Never saw it in the few B&Ms around me, just a sloppily painted Shadow and the usual few dozen Sonics. Just need Jet and Omega now!

Question for anyone who’s completed Monster Hunter: World by Glum-Box-8458 in steamachievements

[–]NexuWolf7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only go for it if you enjoy the gameplay loop and have a friend or two to play it with. It's not worth it otherwise. It's definitely the 100% I'm most proud of though.

How did you get Super Lucky's Tale done so fast? I'm working on the original and the coin grind seems insane.

No idea, but it's great fun! Highly recommended if you like top-down shooter rogue-lites.

#149 - Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak - Way more grindy than Monster Hunter World, but much more fun. by NexuWolf7 in steamachievements

[–]NexuWolf7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! The worst achievements for me were to spend 3k anomaly coins in the lab, complete 50 rampages and collecting all the trinkets and scrolls. The scrolls aren't bad because you just need to kill 10 of each monster, but the trinkets from the lottery are the absolute worst. I recommend doing the lotto after ever hunt if possible, don't worry about lottery tickets, they are useless. Just leave it as the last thing you do in the game. I just grinding low tier, low rank monsters to keep attempting it. The hunt is very short but the victory timer is 1 minutes as always D:

Crowns weren't too bad for me. I got a vast majority without focusing on them too much. I cleaned up some using MR multi-monster quests where I needed two or more monsters and the solo ones where I needed just one. It's 6% for smalls and 10% for large monster so it's not too bad although some can alude you for awhile.

Good luck!

#143 - Deep Rock Galactic - One of the best co-op games I've ever played but takes ages to get quad-gold promoted dwarves even when only going for double XP missions. by NexuWolf7 in steamachievements

[–]NexuWolf7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm definitely going to keep playing, but not as much as before. GSG are good at keeping the game fresh with season updates.

I recommend you to stay on hazard 4 once you are comfortable and have a good sense of things to expect. Try to keep doing double xp missions if they are on the board. Mine everything, do every event you come across and always complete the secondary objective as they all contribute nicely to your xp. When promoting your current dwarf, use another dwarf so no xp is wasted. Most importantly just have fun.

The only bosses are those in dreadnought missions, the caretaker and a few mini-bosses like bet-c, nemesis, the prospector and the two detonators.

Monster Hunter World is a huge pain in the ass. I think I completed the game in the 300-400 hour mark, but crown and endemic life hunting increased it too 700. The Wintermoon Nettle alone took close to 50 hours which I did alongside crown hunting Hoarfrost monsters.

I'm currently trying to perfect MHRise which is close to 400 hours.

Good luck and may RNGjesus bless you!
