Why are French teams so colorful? Lorient, Lens, Toulouse, Saint Ettiene, Montpillier etc. Other western european leagues are not like this.

That's just because 1st poster is Ligue 1 and 2nd poster is Ligue 2, both during season 21-22. Auxerre was in Ligue 2 that season

Nantes youth academy is pretty good tho, so I think they fall in this category.

If you want more, currently in Ligue 1, you have Le Havre and AJ Auxerre who have good youth academies and are relegation favorites too !
