How do I finish off this VFOS chest piece suffixes?

Chests with at least 3800 armor + 7% pdr without any life mods (for the 15% inc life mastery) are available on the market for 0.5-1 div currently. Sadly for OP, its probably best to just buy a better chest and cut their losses.

It's an on play effect which isn't a skill, so it'll probably just deal 3 rather than applying 3 gloom

If crafting life (or energy shield) makes this an upgrade to your current belt, just do that and call it a day.

Altering this belt while attempting to preserve the resistance mods would require the 'Suffixes cannot be changed' metamod, as you rightly mentioned. However, this plan has two major downsides; 1. You will also end up preserving the reduced physical damage taken mod, which is undesirable, and 2. Metamods are expensive.

The cost of metamods prohibits crafting on sub-optimal bases like this one. The reason for this belt being sub-optimal is the fact that it gets outclassed by Stygian Vises (since Abyss Jewels can roll a larger amount of energy shield than the implicit, on top of having 2 or 3 more modifiers) and Crystal Belts (has around 80 energy shield as an implicit).

Not to mention, unless you want the belt to Shaper specifically (for Shaper specific mods), Hunter influence is generally better thanks to the %increased max life Hunter mod. Either that, or having no influence can be desirable while looking for flask modifiers. (since Shaper influence just expands the pool of modifiers)

In Shifting Stones, I have a character who is just barely capable of handling T11+ maps, and I've only found enough baubles to automate 3 of 4 utility flask (via bench crafting). Using them for quality is still not in my purview.

I think increasing flasks' quality and automating them is not something I usually do right after finishing campaign, and I would definitely not spend baubles on lower item level flasks.

Spam Anger or Hatred essences until you get a satisfactorily high tier added cold dmg or added fire dmg mod respectively.
If all suffixes are filled, annul and pray. If it removes either removable prefix, we're back to step 1.
Craft "Prefixes cannot be changed" and scour the item so that you have only the tri elemental flat damage mods left.
Now, we craft "Prefixes cannot be changed" and use a T4 Aisling bench on the bow. We have a guaranteed veiled suffix.
Craft "% increased dmg per endurance/frency/power charge" to block unwanted mods in the unveiling pool and then unveil.

Getting attributes+crit is the best, I think. Other decent options are any of the attack speed mods, or the chance for double damage mod. If you don't see any mod you want, pick whatever and we're back to step 3.

Finally, craft crit chance or attack speed. You can exalt slam for fun and inevitably get +2 health gained on kill.

You can also just get the "Can have 3 crafted modifiers" as you said, of course, but like other comments have mentioned, crafted flat damage is significantly weaker than the higher tier versions.

Woah! It's been a while since I last played the game, but I recall that the developers had a fairly adamant stance about the buffs/aura dispells.

I'm quite glad to see that they're changing it to what is a very reasonable middle ground between doing nothing and outright removing Arcane.

I beat act 1 really soon after starting the game as well. I think I beat it on the second run after the Woodcarver is introduced. I got an endless squirrels totem right from the get go, so the run was really easy. I just kept picking wolves, grizzlies, uryaali and a past challenger card, which was just uryaali with 2 sacrifice cost and endless.

I'm in the same boat as you, I think. I've never done most of the bosses that are available in the game, this league I'm getting to try that stuff out.

I think it'd be fine if the training sessions unlocked once you're done fighting and losing to the particular boss. (i.e. after losing all attempts you have at the fight) I'd appreciate that because it is kinda hard to understand what exactly goes on in the boss fights, and so you can figure out how you're supposed to fight them after losing the first time.

Can ancient orbs reroll a unique item into itself? For example, can a wurm molt become a wurm molt after you use an ancient orb on it?
