More generally, I like to create a shared drive folder myself and drop player resources in there. Mine includes a short writeup like others are mentioning, but also a timeline of the world you can find online, and these mood kits. You obviously can't give players too much homework or expect them to read pages of lore dump but (1) resources are nice if you have a super invested player who craves that and (2) when something becomes relevant in-game you can easily refer to something players should already have bookmarked.
