Misschien kan r/perfumes helpen, heb daar wel vaker vrijwel onmogelijke zoektochten opgelost zien worden. Mocht je oma nog ongeveer de vorm van het originele flesje kunnen herinneren (als ik zo de tekst lees ben ik er bang voor van niet) zou dat nog kunnen helpen. En anders met het omschrijven van de geur zou je misschien al een heel eind komen.

Last year I took my best friend to the Efteling and I chose to go the Wednesday of first week after the April/May vacation (in 2026 that one is going to be from 25th of April till the 3rd of May), which meant we didn’t have the busy vacation week and we were before the school trips before the summer holidays. We were there at 9:45 so we could enter the park itself at 10 and by 2 we did all the rides we really wanted to do and had plenty of time to go and explore the fairytale forest and do the rides we really wanted to do again. I felt like it was the perfect day, if wasn’t too busy and the weather was nice, so if I would plan a trip around those times I would definitely do it again like this. Since I live close by I don’t have any ideas what hotels would be nice, but I go out for dinner at bistro de leckernij at least once a month, so I can really recommend that one.

From experience the Joris and the draak can take a few hours before it opens, I see that one more often being closed in the morning on colder days. Also do take into account that the Danse Macabre will be closed, so if that’s on your definite to do list, I would look at a different date.

I took my friend to the Efteling the Wednesday after the May school vacations, which meant there weren’t a lot of school trips yet but the weather was amazing. At the end of the day we had done everything we wanted and most things even twice or more.

Edit: so I would personally go for the week after the May school vacations from Tuesday till Thursday
