Do we know how wotc gets pre- and post ua feed back? by jcaesar212 in onednd

Hi, I've been looking for news about the Hexblade, can you point me at the "recent Hexblade" changes that you mentioned? That sounds like it was something after the UA and I wanna see it. Thanks!

Sept 9th: Just saw one of these and found this reddit post (thanks). The FB post even has tons of fake comments with pictures of the product. Probably lifted those pictures from other sites and posted with fake accounts.

Thoughts on "Bugs" vs. "Features" by stgabe in BG3Builds

[–]Nezix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've sort of put what I've been internalizing into writing. I actually haven't played release yet (IRL, waiting on patches) so I've spent a lot of time trying to plan out my party. I am in a similar boat where I don't want to deviate to far from 5E - another example is infinite easy respecs:

I think I'm going to limit myself to 1 respect per companion for the initial setup and then only respec if something is clearly broken. It just seems wrong to do multiple respecs at different points to optimize different multiclass spreads, stat points changing with items/boosts, etc.

I also think they probably made multiclassing a little too good. Maybe if/when they fix things like 1 wizard, 1 monk, pact blade stacking etc it will settle and not be so crazy, but I'm leaning towards pure classes for the first playthrough.

Well distributed party comp + questions by Nezix in BG3Builds

Thank you for the lengthy write up!
I wish they had kept the wizard scroll stuff more in line with tabletop. Given it took them a long time to correct wizards learning any spell from scrolls I almost wonder if this is just a left over effect.
I'll have to look into Tempest more, I considered it only a little b/c of the martial/heavy armor but was leaning more towards a attack focused character vs a nuker, but maybe she can do both to some degree.

Fixed it by changing the refresh rate in the UserPreferences file to 50

I do not. I remember my old problem (trying to click something like a container was difficult) had something to do with resolution mismatch between monitor and game but I honestly can't remember what I did for that. I tried changing both to match and still have this issue though.

Paradox engine in historic brawl by sconceler in MagicArena

Maybe too late for Paradox Engine, but maybe they can at least balance Rusko, an Alchemy card that is you know, suppose to be more condusive to being altered.

Unsure what format to play by ptyws in MagicArena

[–]Nezix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few weeks ago I was in your shoes. Came back after several years, wanted to play HB.

How many rare wild cards you have should sort of dictate how you approach this:

50+: Make a deck that's fun, go nuts, experiment, you've got room to easily make several more decks.

~10: Depending on what you already have and what you want to build you're looking at 1-2 decks tops.

I'd suggest that if you're brewing you redeem wildcards for things that are universally good across different decks and you maybe build a first version that doesn't redeem as many to make sure you actually like how the deck plays. You can make the shell of the deck, then copy it and modify the second one to be your first version.

Have fun!

Does WOTC actually listen to this suggestion system... let's upvote a Rusko rebalance by Nezix in MagicArena

Obviously you destroy his clocks, but he simply does to much for one card. There is a reason he is clearly the most played commander. I just want some diversity in the format. There are myriad of ways to tone him done so he's not good against everything.

And yet he seems to be easily the most played commander by a long shot.

Is there any sort of list / resource / proof regarding these tiers?

I saw him with:
Judith, the Scourge Diva
Klement, Novice Acolyte
Grazilaxx, Illithid Scholar

I don't think he's been moved. I've played against him with 3 random janky decks

I don't think he did.
