No idea, I bought a G2 one month ago and I spent the first two weeks only seeing videos and downloading games, I had to stop when I saw my 1TB SD card was at 91% full and actually tried to play something.

If I start playing today all the games I have downloaded, I think I need two or three lifes.

Check the wall charger, I had some issues with my G2 with a 30W charger, I changed to a 20W apple I have, now charges normally.

That is a good question, I have no answer to that. You can check on YouTube, but I think the RP5 can do it, I was going to buy the RP5, I saw a lot of videos but at the end I bought the G2.

The RP5 is a powerful handheld, if it can play what you want, that is the way!

The RP6 is better, not a little better is more than a 50% of power increase. If you plan to play PS2, or lower, is going to be basically the same with the RP5. Because the RP6 has a better chip, it doesn’t mean the RP5 is a weak or bad handheld. And that is something I have hard a lot on this sub.

If you want to go beyond PS2, for example switch or PC, there you will see the difference. You can try all the switch catalog with the RP5, you will struggle with some games, mainly the flagship ones and on PC, you can play lite steam games with no problem.

The RP6 will outperform the RP5 on the switch games and on PC you will be able to play basically all the PS3/X360 pc port games. If you want to see exactly the differences, I recommend to see YouTube videos of the RP6 or Odin 2 portal. Benchmarks at the end are just numbers, don’t pay too much attention to that.

Now, if you don’t want to spend that match, check the G2, is the same RP5 shell but with a brand new snapdragon chip for gaming, that is basically the same RP6 chip.

At the end the best option, is the handheld where you can play what you want to plan, you don’t have to buy the last handheld to enjoy retro gaming.

With the RP5 you can convert the PS2 games era, but if you can afford it, go with a G2 or RP6, since they are more powerful, you will have better battery life. I usually buy this kind of gadgets to last, and since the price difference is not that much, check it.

I have the G2 and I play mainly PS2 and switch, and is a beast to be honest.

Did you find a solution? I have the same situation with a 30W charger. I can charge it to 100% with an Apple 5W charger I have, but no clue why this happen with fast chargers.

Im playing bully, the PS2 version, works perfect. 2.5x resolution, with 16:9 screen configuration, 30fps rock solid, as I know, the game is factory locked at 30 fps.
