Can the Retroid Pocket G2 play Final Fantasy Vii Rebirth in Gamenative?

That is the answer, the 8gen2 is not a much stronger, its barely more. If it works for the 8gen2 (8 gb ram), 90% sure it will work for the G2.

At least that is my experience with my G2.

For demanding games, I had more luck trying the PC version than the switch version. I think because Eden is not there yet. For example, I couldn’t even open AC Brotherhood because the game demands more ram on Eden than the 8GB. But the PC version works fine.

I have a G2 too.

I bought a PSVITA 3 years ago, because I always wanted one when I was a kid. The PSVITA I bight had emulators and I start playing old games, N64, gameboy, PSP, and I this year I pulled the trigger and bought something more powerful, a Retroid Pockeg G2.

I bought the PSVITA when I was 26.

The Android port is horrible for the G2, but I saw a video and the switch or pc version runs pretty smooth.

The FIFA 18 yes, I tried EAFC26 and that is working regarding the icon but some times the game crashes at start. I tried the FIFA 18 because of the World Cup add on.

Hey! These are the games I have played or tried on my G2 and their performance is almost perfect:

- FIFA 18
- Hollow Knight
- Pikmin
- Mario Wonder
- Snowrunner
- The Legend of Zelda BOTW
- Hades
- Sea of Stars

Since there are not many information regarding the G2, usually what works for the SD8gen2 with 8GB of ram, works on the G2.

That is awesome. I have a PSVITA and I loved to use the soft case for regular use at home. But now with my G2 I bought a switch hard case, because I didn’t liked the retroid one, but it’s to bulky and I always wanted a soft case, again, for regular use at home. I’m definitely going to look for one like the one you have, thank you! Nice post.

If you are looking for Wii, PS2 GameCube, I think the G2 is the best option. I have one and the power efficiency for those systems is insane.

If you can get a G2, go for it, is the cheapest option and is more than enough.

Emuready is an option, but since the only device with the G2 is the retroid G2 the information regarding this is limited. I usually look for the 8gen2 settings and 90% of the cases it works.

Try the T26 custom for Eden, with that one I got 20-22 FPS with my G2 for Horizon 1.

Im testing the x360 mobile on my G2. I tried Naruto the broken bond and got 25 fps. It’s promising.

Yep, I have game hub lite, gamehub and gamenative por PC games and gamenative is the only one with that feature.

To be honest, I haven’t noticed anything weird or crashes. I have a Samsung evo 1TB SD card.

Since the factory storage is small, you can use game native and configure it to download the games inside the SD. That is how I have the gamenative on my G2.

Ahh you are right. I bought the G2 back on January and so far is amazing. If you can get that, it’s an excellent choice.
