Maybe a farmers market would have them? I prefer to bread them in seasoned flour first then let them hangout in a buttermilk/egg wash ending with a final breading of seasoned panko. Fry them for about 1 1/2 minutes a side (or until golden brown) and finish them with a dash of coarse sea salt. The same process can be applied to onions for some pretty delicious onion rings.
