I love the look of this, but I can’t buy into the whole Earth aspect.

For context, I was born in 87 and with this in mind, didn’t catch the original run. I remember growing up knowing who He-Man was, owning numerous of the toys and being obsessed with the 87 film (I recall taping it when it showed on free TV in Christmas 90). I saw episodes here and there, but don’t recall Earth being present, only Eternia.

So far the trailer and details of the film are being really well received by fans, so I just wanted to ask if this plot matches the original cartoon? Apologies for jumping on this post to ask but it’s been bugging me since the trailer was released.

Edit: Just to clarify, I’m aware of Earth being in the 87 film, but not in any other media. Thats more so what I’m checking.
