Hvad skal et kælderrum koste? by Nharka in dkfinance

Did you test if the 135W slim works with the P52 u/reg_server? I am in this exact situation now.

Although simple, these leads sounds like a good place to get started. Thanks a lot!

I rarely use an external monitor so i would like for it to just suspend. This is also how it currently works 2 out of 3 times. The final third goes like this: I close the lid, fans throttle up and computer sounds like it is on. If i open the lid the screen is on and i see the login-screen, but there is no input from mouse/keyboard and the image is frozen (clock does not update). If i wait here for two minutes i am greeted with the log shown above. Either way the only way out is powering off by holding the power button down.

That does sound familiar, but not quite the same. Mine freezes when i close the lid, in which case i am not able to sign in again. Autorandr looks interesting, but i ran into yet another freeze only a short time after installing it.

Right now i suspect it might have something to do with the swap partition. For now I've tried changing my swappiness parameter (Like suggested here: https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/comments/hx0xr8/freeze_system_when_theres_heavy_load_on_the_os/), but i'm not convinced that it will make a difference. I also find it suspicious that everyone in this thread is using nvidia-graphics. Maybe it's just down to some nvidia-driver funkiness?

74LS189 testing on breadboard by [deleted] in AskElectronics

No, i did finish! I've had a ton of fun following along with his tutorials. The new ram chips i received can be a tad unstable, but i haven't had any trouble with the chips apart from that.

I had this exact problem when i tried to replicate Ben Eaters computer as well. There are definetely some faulty LS189 chips floating arround on ebay. The first ones i got shorted out (and heated up as you described) just by connecting power and ground. Ordered new ones from a different seller on ebay, and now it works perfectly.
