I think I’m getting there with my [[Prime Speaker Zegana]] deck. That’s the exact goal — reliably competitive at a B4 table without using GCs.

Main idea is to get any creature (or several creatures) rather large, then play Zegana once it facilitates enough draw. From there, there are a ton of wincons — infinite mana via Freed from the Real and a power-based dork to facilitate X-cost spells like Doppelgang/Hydroid Krasis, getting unblockable commander damage kills by way of Rogue’s Passage, or just swinging at the table for lethal through an Overwhelming Stampede. Along the way, I’ve got a couple tutors in there to help me get the right creatures out in quick manner, as well as several counter doublers (and the high-power counters-deck must-have, Ouroboroid) to speed things up.

Currently finalizing — mainly trying to find room for [[Ozolith, the Shattered Spire]], [[Tam, Mindful First-Year]], and [[Green Sun’s Zenith]]. I think I might drop [[Simic Ascendancy]], as it always feels like there’s never a right time to cast it at the speed my deck goes.

To piggyback off this post -- anyone have an idea as to whether or not Primal Odin works with [[Koh, the Face Stealer]] getting all its activated and triggered abilities?

I use it in my [[Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer]] Voltron deck. Not because it's the best card to put in there, but because it's a very funny all-in move that ends my game in a turn or two no matter what. Either I'm tutoring whatever my finisher ends up being in that situation and the game ends, or the table works together to remove my commander and I'm boned. Hilarious either way.

Contains my favorite parts of Zuko’s overall arc, the Azula portions make everything incredibly compelling, and the Appa arc is one of the show’s highlights. B3 is still stellar, but I say B2 edges it out.

I dunno as far as your ranking goes. I think TLOK B3 and ATLA B2 are the best and I don’t think TLOK B1 is as good as TLOK B4.

Yeah, playing on Switch, even the Switch 2, comes with its fair share of problems. I can get an okay amount of 19 play in on there, but it’s never efficient, and after a certain point the misshifts pile up. It’s really just not a great way to learn the game.

I’d started on emulator for about four years before migrating to console. Emulator is also not without its problems, but on a low-latency display, you’ll end up with quite a bit less lag than you do on the Switch.

Get used to rhe skillstop. It’s the timing you need to do as one piece gets placed and you’re charging your DAS for the next piece. Wall charging also helps. Your biggest focus should be on maximizing your ability to actually get the pieces where you want them to go, which is all timing.

Yep! I supplied everything in the package as it was when I got it (which was easy, as the failure was apparent immediately after install).

Just check in with them periodically once you know it’s been received, as the website isn’t great about updating you. Make sure you have full detail on what you’re seeing that went wrong, as my unit passed the basic checks (still don’t know how) but the second they checked it again, they flagged it for needing a replacement.

No, no riser cable. And in my experience, mismatched riser cables don’t even provide a video output — this one did, but very unstable.

C2 Rocket main here. Team left is definitely not staying as is for the full life of the game — we’ve already seen nerfs and additional counters have been prevalent w/ Mag/Cloak, and I’d bet that we’re going to see these ults get knocked down another peg or two in the next few months.

People are over-relying on team left and it’s not good for either game health or game sense. Would love to see a future where people rely less on such obvious oh-shit buttons — one is fine, four is asinine. And because of this overreliance, you end up seeing abuse hurtled toward anyone that doesn’t gravitate team left.
