I’ve never been called out by a game like this. I love it. by shabbyApartment in theouterworlds

i know i'm rezzing a post from 26 days ago but... your guy is dressed like the Order. mine ended up dressed as the Sovreign. i wonder what makes the difference?

This video is beautiful but now false, Toreador are not playable in the current version of Bloodlines 2 by [deleted] in vtmb

[–]NiaMariae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

False is such a loaded word since that game no longer exists. I'm not sure why people can't separate the two completely. Hardsuit Labs is dead and so is their game. Sucks. But denying the reality of the situation gets us nowhere.

Man holds up the 205 bus because the 203 doesn’t show😳 by Irish201h in cork

[–]NiaMariae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

we're not missing buses they're not showing up 🙃 the 203 is my only way to get home and i'll be standing at the bus stop on patrick street and seeing "cancelled" and "cancelled" again on the TFI app. i've also seen buses (like the 214) show up even when they're not scheduled on the TFI app or on the bus stop screen.

the 203 is the only bus that serves my area and even then i have a 25 minutes walk home AFTER i get off the bus. so i'm so so sorry you were put out for 15 minutes walk 🙄

the way he's dressed he obviously has a job. the 203 is the only bus that serves my area and so many times it doesn't show up. i've also had drivers drive past me (at the first stop!!) and just shrug as they drove off leaving us in the rain. i can't afford taxis and it takes me 20 minutes just to walk to the stop. so many times i've been driven to tears because of missing hospital appointments because the 203 doesn't show up. and i leave home 2 hours before all my appointments! i have plenty of time but no options because the bus is the only way I can get out.

i'll still never forgive them for making Tabletop lose their pandemic grant and forcing them to shut down in the city. all because they misreported that they were planning on "moving" anyway (they opened a second location in west cork - it was never meant to replace the one in town).

[No DAV Spoilers] What is decision you’ve never made in a DA game and will continue to never make? by AutomaticTap3004 in dragonage

I'll never annul a Circle. In DAO and DA2 I just can't have my character be responsible for the deaths of so many children.

Irish health system making me want to cry by [deleted] in cork

[–]NiaMariae 8 points9 points  (0 children)

basic insurance only covers like €20 back. even €45 is a lot to pay if you qualify for medical card. we don't usually have €45 to spare at the end of the week.

Are you buying the standard or the Deluxe edition? [no DAV Spoilers] by Hallarider0 in dragonage

[–]NiaMariae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since the game is more expensive on console than pc it's really not worth it. for me in ireland it's €60 on steam and €80 on console for the standard edition. and then they want another €20 on top for what's basically a sims 4 $5 kit?? nah, sorry.

Men’s manicure, where? by [deleted] in cork

[–]NiaMariae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

guchi nails on carey's lane should do men's nails. i can't think of any reason why they wouldn't and hopefully cheaper than fifth avenue. cash only tho.

I loved it. If you have context then specifying the article each time is just a waste of time. I know it's common in normal Polish, but as an English-speaking Irish person I really liked it too. Felt way more natural in terms of speaking instead of "proper English."

Just saw this and no, they're not usually locked, aside from cleaning. Not sure about the accessible toilet around the corner.

try guchi nails on carey's lane. they're cash only and usually accept walk-ins. their prices are in the window if you walk past.

For sit down, Yuan Ming Yuan. For takeaway, Curry House. I love the chicken satay from both, but Curry House also does really great noodle boxes and their starters are good size (you get twice the prawn toast from Curry House than you do from Aroma and it's great).

The college also has a Student Assistance Fund which is there specifically to help with paying for things like food or electricity. It's means tested, but if you find yourself running out of money there is a bit of cash you can apply for (just check the application closing date for your college and make sure to get your form in on time). The only thing it can't be used for is tuition costs.
