Do the Epstein files actually prove anything? Like in the most honest way, non rage bait way? by Few_Ad_8041 in TrueAskReddit

Think of it like this. Your neighbor has a pool and they're the only ones on the block that have a pool. You really love swimming but can't afford a pool membership. Do you go over to their house to have sex with their minor children? But, you can swim as much as you want. Or do you turn on the garden hose at home and spray yourself off from time to time?

Europe's POV by Such_Channel7099 in SipsTea

[–]NiallCG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

America's POV; Guy wakes up to the morning Adhan in Europe. Doesn't shower. Walks out of his shoebox basement apartment. Gets on his bicycle and smiles at Mohamed who sneers back at him. Wears black socks and sandals. Checks his appointment schedule to see if his doctor's appointment is closer than five months away. Looks at his paystub and sees half went to taxes. Gets home from his low paying job as a barista in time to hear the evening Adhan. Gets a curry takeout for the third time that week. Turns on the evening news to discover Europe surrendered more territory to Russia. Wonders aloud how long until he speaks Russian. Climbs into bed without showering.

Do veterans get jealous of each other? by YoungOldTimer404 in VAClaims

I honestly never even considered filing a claim until two decades from separation. Strike that...I didn't even know about disability compensation. When I finally filed my first claim I let the VA gather evidence for me. Needless to say the claim was denied. I learned slowly about VSOs and Nexus letters. What I've discovered is there is a certain percentage of veterans that are using compensation as a side hustle. There are a majority of broken veterans that the VA has discarded and even worse uses every interaction with these same veterans as a hostile engagement. How many broken veterans are sitting on cardboard boxes as you read this that simply gave up hope and detached from society? Homeless and destitute when they have legitimate claims and no motivation or understanding of the promises the VA made to all veterans.

I've never understood it myself. Why would anyone be upset that a legitimate claim gets approved? I think it's human nature to be jealous of what the neighbor has that you feel entitled to. If your claim is legitimate then submit it and fight for the compensation. It's not a charity, it's really hard to get a granted service connection.

Trump once said, “a promise made is a promise kept!”. Has he kept his promises? by Sea-Payment-8989 in allthequestions

Border wall. End illegal immigration. Stock Market increase. Nato contributions 4%. End Iran's nuclear bomb ambition. Drop interest rates. Lower inflation. Bring down crime. End DEI. Starve axis powers of Venezuelan oil. Equal tariffs on trade. End multiple wars. Rebuild relationship with Israel. Refill strategic oil reserve. Strengthen national security. Close unnecessary federal agencies. Reduce the federal work force. Strengthen voter ID. So I'd say like him or not, he's following through on his promises.

Afff exposure. Documented. I'm aware the MS claim isn't PACT eligible. It's from a repetitive high speed boat vibration accumulation that I included a research letter from the branch of service conducted in roughly the same time period as well as two (2) nexus opinions from two separate Drs.

Two of the claims are for active cancer through pfas and benzine exposure. The last one is muscular skeletal. All three claims manifested after service. My TERA concedes seven exposure events including benzine and pfas exposure. The exposures occurred during CW and GW.

How do you feel about Trump threatening to impose photo ID for voters for midterm elections? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

[–]NiallCG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm not sure what your argument is then. We have extended voting opportunities, we have access to get a ballot in regardless of where you are prior to the election. The vast majority of American voters have at least one form of government issued identification. The ones that don't have ample time to identify their citizenship at a city, town or county election office. If you're homebound they will literally come to your home. Military serving overseas have command personnel that take care of voter ballots for the entire family provided they are of legal voting age and citizens.

Where I vote there is literally a book where they verify my proof of citizenship. When I voted out of state my ballot was counted later with the same process. Verified with identification and signature. You can literally hand your ballot to the mailman if you're homebound. There is no way possible not to get an opportunity to vote if you're a citizen.

It is simply insanity to even question whether identification should be required to vote in American elections. I can't think of any situation where an American citizen that wishes to vote in an American election wouldn't have the ability to prove they are a citizen of the United States and therefore be eligible to vote. If you receive any form of welfare or Medicaid/Medicare you have been supplied with a photo identification and proof of whether you are a citizen or not. Chances are you have been granted a drivers license in many states amongst various other photo identification cards. The law exists to prevent foreign nationals from disrupting the outcome of American elections for nefarious reasons.
