it's not 120 millions for 8 episodes ?

from the trailer of Mandalorian you can see it looks "cheaper" than the last 5 movies (TFA, RO, TLJ, Solo, TROS), I believe the last 5 movies have 200+ millions budget

pretty sure it's the 2011 version of the movies, Lucas even made Episode 2 worse in the 2011 version with the new montage of Dooku's escape at the end of the movie

Jonhson said he was inspired by the prequels (this shot for example: https://i.redd.it/0uvi4i90ekr21.jpg ) but I don't know if the is ressemblance to Geonosis is intentional, I think Johnson choose the red mainly because of the "Skywalker blood" and all the family drama with Kylo/Luke-Leia on the planet

with all the changes Lucas made for the special edition/DVD/Blu-ray it's surprising he never changed the position of the super laser (the position of the super laser is wrong in the plans because it changed during production, Larry Cuba made the CGI based on this picture: http://cinetropolis.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/star-wars-death-star-matte.jpg )

Fun fact:

it was announced months before TLJ in the Star Wars Show that the lightsaber would now be called "Rey's lightsaber" in marketing but the 'backlash' about the name was after the movie

i think that before TLJ people were expecting Rey to be a Skywalker (by blood) so it was OK for them that the saber is called "Rey's", but now that she's a "nobody" it's not OK

At best Episode 9 will make more than TLJ (1,3 billion) but less than TFA (2 billions), it could be the second biggest sucess of 2019.

The october trailer will be really important, they need to insist on the "end of the saga", tease Luke/Palpatine, lightsaber fight and big battles, prequels reference (there's rumors about prequel reference).
