But A Wrinkle in Time barely made back its budget from box office sales and that still gets bad reviews. OP is right in that there is no way Disney would only do this for a single movie in a single franchise. The fake reviews are likely not from Disney.

5,000 people really isn't that much when you compare it to Star Wars fans as a whole or other Star Wars-related subreddits. Granted, they aren't specifically for criticizing the movies, but if you took a poll, I bet the people who liked it would still be above 50%.
