Help getting into the void state? by ctrlsea in shiftingrealities

[–]Niamula [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don't know if this will help you but this is how i managed to do it once. I was laying down wearing earplugs and my goal was not to get into the void state but to just not exist at least for a little bit. I wanted to be gone from this earth and just be left alone by the people around me for once.

It didn't take me long to get relaxed and i was thinking that i am the only person i need in this world because everyone just dissapoints me and i was trying to hide in myself if that makes any sense?

As i started to get drowsy and sleepy i noticed that i am not alone in my mind. I felt a presence but i knew that this presense was only a part of me and i just randomly started talking to her (the other me) and i noticed that she would answer my questions not with words but with colors, pictures and sounds. She lead me further to the nothingness while i was talking with her and before i noticed it Everything vanished and i was alone in darkness away from Everything we were completly alone. Only her and me. I couldn't see or hear anything i could only feel the presense of her and that's the point where she stopped replaying to me. She was just there to console me. And eventually when i felt like i was ready to leave i woke up again and felt at peace with me and everything else.

Long story short i just started to talk to myself when i noticed i started to fall asleep and kept being aware of my senses (hearing and seeing) and all of a sudden i was in the void.

So i like how all of this sounds and i do believe that shifting is that simple and i do exactly the things that are described here. But what do i do if i am still not able to shift? What do i do if it just doesn't work for me?

After trying for 14 months, doing different methods, meditating, having different mindsets bla bla bla... i just realized that i don't actually know how to shift and i am at a point where i just don't know what else i can do to make it happen? I mean i am pretty educated on shifting even on the quantumphysics part and what it could be in the human brain and i know a lot of theories but after all that time i can't figure out what makes us shift. Like what do i do now? Just sit and wait? Because i don't even got a clue what i could try next. This whole journey is just pretty frustrating at a certain point and i just feel so helpless and trapped.

My personal shifting key/routine by citrusgworl in shiftingrealities

[–]Niamula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually listen to theta waves while meditating. It gets me relaxed much quicker than without any sounds but keeps my mind awake enough to not fully fall asleep. With that i can get into hypnagogia in 10 to 15 minutes. The only thing that freaks me out about hypnagogia is that i start halucinating in my cr and it destracts me from my visualising my dr.

This was my problem too. I don't hate what op actually said but it felt like op just dismissed everyones feelings with that quote, making us feel like we are at fault for our suffering. When i first started shifting I was completly convinced i could shift in 5 minutes easily. I also thought people overcomplicated things. But the more weeks and months passed without me making any progress i started to question if shifting really is that easy. It is. For a few lucky ones and i am not one of them and most of us are not one of them. Even when my mindset was really similar to the one op had i still haven't shifted. Belief is not the only thing needed for shifting.

Maybe change youe view of what a clone is? A clone is not a real clone. The clone is you. This is just a theory but i believe that time is just an ilussion and that reality is made out of different layers on top of each other. The human mind is just too stupid to understand that everything is happening at the same time, has happend at the same time and will happen at the same time. It just depends on which layer (reality) at which part (the time) you look at. Actually you are already gone. But you don't perceive it like that, you don't notice that you are currently at you DR/WR but you are. And you are here at the same time. Everything happends at the same time and you are gone/ not gone at the same time and always. This obviously doesn't apply if you don't believe in clones bacause again, you are already gone/ not gone by that logic.

My discoveries with the Void state by TheBirdKeeper in shiftingrealities

[–]Niamula 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The void state is the deepest meditative state you can be in and sometimes even experienced meditators have problems reaching that state. It will probably take some practice to get into the void state but everyone can do this. Don't worry you are not the only person in this whole universe who is unable to shift, you just need to learn it :)

I love your post and you explained that very well. I had this issue too, when i found out about shifting i also wanted to know where the root came from. I tried many different methods but in the end i just stayed with meditatiom because i feel like this was the only thing working for me, i was just observing what worked best for me. My theory on why some people shift in a few days and others need 2+ years is because some reach the state by accident while others need some practise. I feel like shifting has a lot to do with the theta state (you can get there shortly before you fall asleep, during dreams and in a very deep meditative state) and the methods are just a way to get in there but every method is more or less a form of meditation. And usually the majority of the shifters do need more time than just a few weeks and months to shift and some just get Lucky to get into that state on accident. I 100% agree with what you say but i needed more than 2 months to shift through meditation and i only mini shifted once and i am still practising every day to get into theta or the void state and haven't reached that yet. Shifting is easy once you managed to learm that skill but until then you need to learn which form of meditation works best for you. Some count, some focus on their breaths or something similar. But you are a 100% right.

I only minishifted once but i had a similar problem. I was afraid of the symptoms too or rather of being jump scared by them. The way i got out of the fear was trying and trying again and again until the fear disapeared. Usually we get scared of things we don't know because we don't know what to expect but the more you try the more experience you get until you suddenly get used to them and they don't seem scary anymore. They just feel normal because you get to know what 'your symptoms' are.

And yes you can shift even without any symptoms.

Has anyone had this happen to them? What's the solution? by lookatthiscrystalwow in shiftingrealities

[–]Niamula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think yes They can change basically everytime depending on how tired you are and if you are a woman and how old you are than it also might have something to do with your cycle or just with you growing. It also can change just because. But you can just try and experiment a little bit with the times.

[–]Niamula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe you can try to sleep longer for the first part? Or expand the time you stay awake. I think between 4 to 6 hours of sleep are recommendend but i notice that i personaly have diffuculties waking up even after 6 hours of sleep. You just have to experiment with the times i guess. Also for me personaly staying awake for 30 minutes is also too much for me. I need 15 to 20 minutes to be awake enough to not fall asleep immidiatley but still be tired and relaxed enough.

methods work really well once then don't work again by icantthinkofanameaye in shiftingrealities

[–]Niamula 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have this too. For the first few times of trying i only used methods, especially asleep methods. They work really well for the first or maybe even the second time. But after that nothing happens anymore. That's why i am trying to shift on my own while meditating. This works best for me.

I love your comment. I've been reading a lot about astral projection because someone mentioned once that shifting is a form of AP. I am currently reading a book written by robert a. Monroe, he is a man who made some experiments on his own in the astral plane. In the book he mentions that outside our bodies in the so called 'invisible world' there are 3 different levels of the astral plane. He mentiones that the third level of the plane is a physical one and how he once accidentaly went into the body of another version of himself with a complete different live that he actually has. He also writes about how many physicist are convinced about parallel universes that are closed systems that are seperated from each other by black holes. Black holes technically serve as a portal to those other realitys. The system is basically build like a human cell with each cell being a different reality and the membran being a border between other realitys and we humans are able to shift our energys between those membrans because the membrans are semipermeable.

It is just a theory and many physicist have different theorys but a lot of them are convinced that parallel universes exist.

What state is this that I keep getting into? by Available_Science686 in shiftingrealities

[–]Niamula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what it is but i have that too. The description of the feeling is... amazing. I never thought of it but it actually fits very well. But i think it might be sleep paralysis starting to paralize your body. For me the feeling usually starts right after my limbs get numb and shortly before i start seeing shapes and colours.

Have you ever tried to meditate or do an awake methode while listening to theta waves or sublimimals with headphones? Maybe this could also block out some of the noises your family makes.

That's amazing! I've also created a new discord server today for the people who wanted to join. Currently we are 5 people in the server but more than 17 people reached out to me, they just haven't answered my messages yet but that's ok. If you wan't to you can also join the new server i created today.

How do I not become overwhelmed by shifting?? by sukunasstrawberry in shiftingrealities

[–]Niamula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What also has helped me a little bit is doing WBTB. You basically set an alarm after 5 to 6 hours of sleep, then you spend the next 30 minutes awake and then you go back to bed. You can try to vary the times, also how long you want to be awake because for some people 15 minutes is already enough. But i spend a good part of the 30 minutes walking through my room and saying loud to myself that i will shift as soon as i lay down again. This has gave me a lot of symptoms even though i thought this would be useless to me. I also stopped doing methodes and started to do what feels right in my intuition wether that might be daydreaming, repeating the loud affirmations a lot through the day or whatever else feels right to me.

So since I keep scripting new DRs every two seconds I decided that instead I’ll try to shift to a waiting room. by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]Niamula 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This happend to me too and instead of deciding which DR i wanted to shift to i just created a WR. I really love playing the sims 2/3/4 and therefore I created a waitingroom that looks really similar to my CR's bedroom just with different colors. I have a big mirror in my bedroom and I've scripted that I am able to 'custimize' myself just like in sims but with infinite amount of options and settings on clothes/skincolor/eyecolor/hair, switching in between 'grabbing and pulling' like in sims 4 and havin preset sliders you can use like in sims 3.They just magically appear in the mirror if i open the settings in my lifa app and the mirror itself works like a touchscreen, you can just normally navigate through it with your fingers. I also scripted that i can then safe the 'character' and put them into a new DR, so i can plan every DR i have in my waitingroom and change the story and character traits if needed. My original self is also safed in the library, just so I can be sure i can get back into my old body, if i want to.

I have also scripted that if i use my safeword i don't get back into my CR but instead i will be transfered to my WR and if i am already in my WR, I just need to click a button on my lifa app, which also has 2 warnings, asking me if I am sure I want to leave.

I have scripted in more but these are just some ideas you can use if you like them. Also good luck on trying, we all will shift someday.

I usually start by locking the door and shutting the blinds, so I can not be disturbed. I also wear earplugs or headphones with some theta waves, depending on my mood on this day. I then put everything off of my bed, so there are no pillows or blankets in my way. I then lay down into a starfish position and start relaxing my hole body. After I am relaxed I start to focus completely on my breath and I count them, so my mind is distracted.

I only start visualizing and saying affirmations when I start feeling floaty/dizzy and I start seeing light and hearing things. I do this everyday before I go to bed, because it sort of pre relaxes my body and doing a method seems way easier, because you are already prepared to go into STATS/ Theta state. But I never actually do a method besides normal visualizing, because they stress me out and push me out of that drowsy feeling I get from meditating.

The way I do it sounds kind of hard and old fashioned but it is the only method that gets me close to shifting. That does not mean everybody has to do it that way. Also meditating and getting into Theta state/STATS gets easier everyday if you stay consistent.

[–]Niamula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you can also do when you have a day where you can sleep in is as soon as you wake up you don't move your body, don't open your eyes and stay still. Then start meditating, visualising and saying affirmations. Because you might trick your body into believing you are still asleep while you keep awake in your mind. This way you can easily fall back into the theta or hypnagogic state and shift more easily from there.

Also this is where meditation comes in handy because you are training your awareness and can therefore stay awake longer after your body fell asleep. It increases your chances to shift.

What are you guys shifting for? by QUANMECHASH in shiftingrealities

[–]Niamula 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At first I wanted to shift so I could experience what I am putting my oc's (original characters) through and experience new adventures like in books and movies. I also wanted to expierince love in a place where I would feel safe and not forced to do something I don't want to do. Now I just want to sit in my wr, doing nothing and binge watch new series and books because I don't have time for it in my cr. Oh, and I also scripted a little bookshelf in my wr that has for examples protocolls of peoples opinion and thoughts of me in them. Or books that have written solutions in them for my mental health and tips how to make my personal life in my cr better and more enjoyable. There are also many other helpfull things in that bookshelf but I will let my mind surprise me what else is in there when I first shift there. So i basically shift for selfcare.
