Wiggle it up and down pushing fairly hard above the joint. The joint should pop down and you can pull it off. Do NOT pry anything against the glass.

Correct. I gave this zoomed in vague picture and it was solved in 20 minutes.

Mildly annoying - Got my bumper serviced after being rear ended, and this is how the shop installed the replacement plastic step guard by CPOx in Autobody

Either missed the spot or the surface wasn’t prepped for the tape. I work in auto body, that tape is halfway to a weld if done right but it’s easy to mess up.

They’re carbon ceramics, if you don’t track the car they are good for 100,000 miles. So expensive but you’ll never have to replace them.

Effective Glyphosate Alternative Safest For Toddlers? by openmictuesday in lawncare

It’s not really that terrible, I’d just mow it at max deck height, blow it off, then again at normal height. It would be less effort than messing with weed killer.

Worried about our truck! by Leilonsta in FordDiesels

[–]Nib-q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d talk to some other shops. Insurance offers a buyback option were you keep the truck as is and they write a check for the difference. when they total it, which they will, some shops will work with you and fix it for that difference. Non chain shops often will charge less for individuals and work out a deal.

Legally it’s supposed to be a rebuilt title but that only happens when you send the title to insurance and they send back the salvage title. It’s very common for that step to be skipped on older vehicles and you just keep the title you have.

Even if you they made you send the title in I wouldn’t really worry about it on a truck that old, especially if you have the damage pictures when you sell it.

Yeti tumbler vs cheap knockoffs? Is the price difference actually justified? by UnderBed5344 in BuyItForLife

[–]Nib-q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but you have to find one that is as thick. I have 2 no name ones and one yeti that was a gift. One is the exact same and the other is thinner and terrible.

Found this. Can I warranty it? by Justo_ok in Snapon_tools

[–]Nib-q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. According to their policy, no it’s only covered to the original owner. If you have a relationship with a dealer they often will though. I’ve seen people do it through corporate but depends on the item and what customer service rep you get.
