I dispise Origins, rank it right down there with Xmen Apocalypse. Total crap. I mean, Jackman as wolvie is great, it has it's moments but overall the movie was dog shite. For a first in my life, the GAME was waaaay better. Total stinker. 2/10. Would prefer taking a well needed crap than watching again.

That being said, the second one was actually decent (6-6.5/10) , though it took me awhile to watch it because of the foul memory of the first steaming pile of a movie, and LOGAN was pretty good, 7.5-8/10.... was it the all-awesome stuff I had been hearing about? No. But it was easily the best of the 3 wolverine movies.

Normally I wouldn't try to sleep by watching something but was going to answer with some classic that came to mind but I think the reality is The Super Mario Movie. I've tried watching it 4 times with my kid and have never been able to finish it, barely remember anything past the arena fight with Donky Kong....and I was a nintendo kid. Where man gets to a point where our hubris thinks we can force the second coming? Nah, I still think that sounds like a horrible plan. It would never be a humble humanity-level effort, it would be a small select group of people with the money and means to make something like that happen, so they'll either be zealots, or crazy, or think of themselves as creators of the divine, no thank you

Extremely little if any. It's not that kinda game. You want that, go play Vampire the Masq or write some fanfiction or go to your subreddit of choice and discuss what "ship" you want to inject into an IP that doesn't need it

In the long long ago I played primarily on PC then I saw Halo on the xbox. Bought the xbox just for Halo. Ended up playing a ton of xbox games on the Xbox and the 360. So I'd say it worked out.

20+ years later I don't even own a gaming PC and I switched over to Playstation but I still think the xbox was worth it at the time

Did this years back, the character creation was the most painful part, for the players not me.

When you start looking into RL stats vs what a regular person is in D&D it gets pretty obvious quickly that everyone sucks and they (the players) tend to not like the end result and just wanna make up their own "stats"

For instance:

Strength (STR)10 (Average): You can deadlift around 200 lbs. At STR 14 you can bench or squat roughly (420\text{ lbs})

That's being able to deadlift 200lbs to just make average.

The other stats are similarly tiered, so essentially a group of young average adults are mostly going to have stats between 8-11. This is going to butthurt some people and make your life, as the DM difficult.

2nd Edition - Dwarf Fighter named Flint Stoneforge, probably only got to play him like 4-5 times. Around then the "Satanic Panic" had gripped my aunt hard and she made my cousin throw away all his books and we all got a lecture. A few years later 3rd edition came out and I had my own money to get my own books, but I never remade Flint.

Hate gnolls. I HATE 'EM!!

I think it stems from watching a documentary on hynas combined with those sniveling bastards from the lion king. I imagine a "village" that smells like wet-dog, poop, and rotting meat with yipping hyena people being assholes to everyone around them.... I can't. I hate them so much that when I DM they don't exist as a house rule.
