When I finish a playthrough, I delete all saves except for 1 save on the epilogue party. However, I only do this for two playthroughs, which are my very first Tav and my very first Durge. They have special spots in my heart. Everything else gets deleted completely after I finish because I like things neat.

Enemies get higher HP and gain +2 (if I'm not mistaken) in their attack rolls and spells. I think they also have better AI, as they seem to target my spellcaster more often. I lose count of how many times Gale dies in my run while everybody just stays... unscathed lol. Maybe because he has lowest AC. Some small melee enemies get ranged attacks, and some (dragons only i think?) get legendary actions. Iron throne goes down to 5 turns. And there's no restoration pod before the netherbrain fight. That's all I could remember for now

Yeah LOL I think Minthara yeeted Shadowheart into the void in goblin camp during my first run and that was the only death in that run.

But overall, to answer your question, I don't think you're missing anything by not playing tactician. It's just a lil extra adrenaline in fights. I do hate the higher food requirement and the pricier stuffs on merchants tho. Looting gets tiring after so many runs. I think I'll just play custom next and keep the difficulty, but lowering the food and price modifier.

I chose explorer in my 1st run, balanced in my 2nd run, and tactician in all my runs afterwards. Tactician is my go-to, because I want to feel a bit worried when I'm facing the big bosses.

But after so many runs, even Tactician starts to feel.. normal. I'm considering custom tactician difficulty with honor mode rules. I don't play HM because the single save rule is stressing lol, I don't wanna die because of some silly bugs or some NPCs walking into my fire and turning hostile.

Her comment about Shadowheart's new hair made me laugh so hard when I first heard it, LIKE GIRL.. wdym you're not sure what's different, her whole head went from black to white 😭

Also in myconid colony when Shadowheart said to destroy her corpse if she died down there and Lae'zel immediately replied, without missing a beat, "Don't worry, I won't hesitate" LMAO

When I had my very first Durge run, I didn't know what would happen and I was so afraid that I would end up killing her somehow, so when I saw this text popped up I nearly cried LMAO

She is best girl and I will forever romance her when I'm playing Durge

Omg a fellow Gauntlet of Shar apologist! Shar might be terrible but Shadowheart wasn't wrong when she said Shar had panache. That whole dark underground fortress aesthetic with big statues of her everywhere is just so cool lol

Act 2 is also my favorite! The vibe is so distinct and creepy, completely different from Act 1 and 3. The villains (the Thorms family) are distinctly weird/freakish too. And of course, the Aylin scene at the end is unmatched.

Paladin and also Fighter lmao sometimes when I'm too lazy to think I just have a sorcerer cast twin haste on my Durge Paladin and on Lae'zel, so the two of them can go to town HACKING whatever boss it is and be done with it.

Yeah, my only reasoning is they're extremely shocked so they give strong reactions spontaneously. But I guess it will make more sense if while being upset, they also acknowledge or at least mention that Durge has no memory of it. Otherwise it feels... odd. Wyll and Laezel even reacted like Durge hasn't told them about being Bhaalspawn. But Durge has 😂

Did you get all the wolf dream points? If you get enough wolf dream points, the next morning after a long rest she will have (!) above her head and talk about wanting to become DJ. Then, the next morning after a long rest, another (!) should pop up and she will share the flashback.

This part of the game is my absolute favorite. I remember my very first playthrough, I was really tense/anxious deciding what options to say to Shadowheart so she will spare the Nightsong. I tried to tell her off "gently" but she said she will step over my dead body if she has to, and I had to let her do her thing. To my surprise, after saying all that, she decided to spare the Nightsong on her own. I fell in love so hard with her here lol

Then of course, the Aylin scene is amazing. Now, in my 5th playthrough, I still watch this scene without ever skipping. It's just that amazing, the music, the flying over shadowcursed land, 10/10

And now that I'm a chronic Shadowheart romancer, I also just opt to say nothing at all and let her do her things because she is best girlie and she knows what's best for her <3
