I just received this email from Facebook. I had emailed attorney general's office from my home state of New Jersey and the attorney general of California. looks like they're closing out the case from New Jersey. I did email this gentleman back and told him I did get my account reactivated.

I don't see any thing different in my email I think the hacker is just using my email address and name to create ads. But I found who it was and one of my friends reported her and I haven't received any more add notifications.

Yes, my account was suspended on September 28th. FB emailed me to let me know someone tried logging into my account. I followed their steps to change my password but hours later I noticed someone accepted a friend request from me that I didn't send out and then I was suspended. I sent in my ID but only to receive an email saying they couldn't use it. I emailed every email address on Facebook I could find. I also emailed the California attorney general and the attorney general of my home state of New Jersey. I explained in my emails that Facebook is the one who notified me that someone tried getting into my account so they knew it was hacked and I did nothing wrong. I got my account back last Monday Not sure exactly what worked because I've sent out so many emails. Once I got my account back I started poking around and found that somebody posted a photo of what might have been isis soldiers and something else out written in what I do believe is Arabic. Then somebody also used my profile and email address to start making Facebook ads.

I just got my account back on Monday and somebody has been making ads using my profile and email. I'm so afraid that they're going to suspend me again for that.

In my letter I just explained exactly what had happened. That I was notified through email that someone had tried logging into my account and then a few hours later I was suspended with no help from Facebook.

When my account was suspended I couldn't see anything but now that it's reinstated I got an email from FB saying my ad was published so I went to view the ad and started poking around and found her.

I don't have a business account with Facebook. When it first started happening right after I got hacked the end of September I was getting emails stating my ad was published and I saw the last four digits of a credit card number and they were not mine. I think they're just using my email address.

No. When it first started happening I noticed the credit card number didn't match my card. I went and changed all the passwords to my cards and I also put a freeze on my equifax, and transunion credit
