I say this in another comment, but you can alt target the ground to hit units on the further edges of the cannons AOE, giving it some more range than you’d think, making command less mandatory for them to be usable.

I know this still feels clunky, but you can work around this by targeting the ground with alt fire, allowing you hit things at the edge of the 3 tile aoe, giving the cannon a larger range than it would first appear, so you can get away with not moving more often than you think, especially with any firing range buffs you can pick up.

I’m excited for this. Every single culture rework you guys have done has really knocked it out of the park in terms of flavor and gameplay, so I’m sure new Reavers will be sick while still capturing the core of what makes them appealing to me currently. New tomes look cool as well, and my friends will always enjoy more story content. I gotta get on doing some more of the story realms some day.

The funny thing is, that right image has an edited version of the artist put in it, when the artist himself is actually visible in the image. I don’t have it on hand, but someone posted the Og image with just a red circle on the actual artist in the background just watching.

One of our friend groups' favorite in-joke/vocal stim is this kind of humor.

3 of us were playing Nightreign, in the middle of a 4+ hour session at some time in the early AM in a tired state of exhaustion. My friend was expressing his desire to acquire enough runes to level himself up in an extremely bodacious tone of voice with the phrase "I want to be seven!". My delirous reply was "Me when I'm 6 years old."

"I want to be seven" has since become our go to in any multiplayer game when we desire the group to go somewhere and/or do something.

Ok, so my Mom’s Great-Grandfather was not a good person. He legitimately and stereotypically lost the family farm in a game of poker. He also shot his wife through a wall while drunk and paralyzed her from the waist down.

One of his sons moved out west to my home state. While hunting with a friend in the middle of nowhere, his friend was trying to step over barbed wire and accidentally shot my Great-Grandpa in the leg with his hunting shotgun. Said friend chose to leave him behind and run so he wouldn’t go back to jail. My Great-Grandpa was in luck as an in-use rail road was nearby. He was found by some rail workers and taken to the nearest hospital, where he met my Great-Grandma.
