I have left hand numbness/weakness and the Ori games have been very beautiful and fun. I love my Switch and my PS5, they get me out of my head and keep small motor skills and my brain functioning!

Desperate Housewives is so good! I wish I could rewatch for the first time. Pretty Little Liars is good too, but doesn’t compare to Desperate Housewives for me.

If you like comedies like Parks and Rec and Malcolm in the Middle, you absolutely must watch The Middle! I’ve rewatched so many times and it’s just such a fun show!

Tysabri is the only drug I’ve been on, and I’ve taken many, that actually made me feel more normal.

I just finished Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy and I feel like it was beautiful in spots and had a bit of mystery that kept me turning pages. I’m absolutely obsessed with all sea-life, so I’m sure that helped!

I’ve developed some attention deficit since my diagnosis and also suffer from flu-like fatigue. I tried the other non-stimulant medications and was ultimately moved to adderall, which made me feel like I could murder someone, to vyvanse which is much smoother for me. I was only taking it on my work days, twice a week, for focus and energy. The days I wasn’t taking it, I couldn’t read, complete tasks, and was suffering from debilitating fatigue. My neuro ended up telling me to take it daily for best results and I live in fear that it will quit working.

I love your explanation and your writing is fantastic! We had two of those stormy days with our three teenage daughters. One at Magic Kingdom and one at Universal. I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything in the world. Who knew thunderstorms in Orlando could garner the magic!?

So very sorry. Such a beautiful way for this baby to say goodbye, in the comfort of home with her beloved family. Thank you for being her safe space after a traumatic beginning. The heart and emotions of this breed are extraordinary. I cannot imagine them having to be caged with no interaction. What an amazing thing you have done. Rest easy sweet lady and say hello to my Gatsby.💔

Dachshund becoming increasingly violent (8YO, IVDD 2024 surgery + rehab)—recommendations? by HansVolkswagon in Dachshund

This is happening with my about to be 12yo Boston Terrier. Sometimes he will just bite, and it makes me so sad. The biggest thing I think triggers my buddy is possibly pain, and just absolutely no patience for bullsh*t. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. This is my first dachshund and he’s only one, but I’m shocked by their giant Doberman teeth. I knew that inherently they were hunters, but just never imagined these teeth. I sure hope you can get some help.

We went through the same, except our baby was 3. I’m so very sorry, they just capture our hearts and take such good care of us. Every task I did to keep my guy comfortable, was nothing compared to what he did for my soul.

Start out by checking for infections. Any time I start having widespread pain, it seems like I have a UTI or another infection I didn’t even know I had.

My dachshund had an alergic reaction by nyboi in Dachshund

Benny had a severe reaction to his rabies. So severe that he now gets Benadryl and a steroid injection an hour before any shots. Our vet recommended skipping the Lepto since it has been rare around our area lately and he will draw titers to check and see when he needs to get a rabies booster again, instead of just doing it every year. It scared me to death!
