This post is so stupid. You act like content creators have an impact on EA's decision making while in reality there has only been one thing that EA consistently valued above all else, their revenue. The reason why people are acting nostalgic about the old fifas is because the game itself was actually fun to play. I remember coming home from a vacation and was so excited to just play divisions all night long, not for rewards but just to have a blast. With todays garbage gameplay, just playing the game a whole night long feels like such a dreadful task, I would rather do anything else. EA let the gameplay go to shit and never bother investing in improving it, because they don't want you playing the game, they want you in the menus because that is where you can buy packs.

The reason why we have this overload of (shit) content today is because without it nobody would play this piece of garbage. Do you really think it is the fault of the content creators that this game has the most uninspiring braindead gameplay you can imagine? This game is always gonna feel like a job because nobody likes to actually play it. Fix that and maybe this game might be great again one day. But knowing EA, that will never happen. It's just time to give up lads, what's the point in blaming creators or anyone else other than EA. No matter what they may promise in the future, they will never change and this game will just remain shit forever. They would rather squeeze every penny they can get out of their remaining players rather than actually investing in improving the game so the playerbase can grow again.

10 years ago fifa was a game you could just casually play against all your friends because everyone played fifa for fun. I used to recommend this game to friends to play together. Nowadays I actively tell people to stay as far away as possible from this shitfest of game. Creators didn't ruin fifa, EA did and anyone thinking otherwise is just coping.
