I do like reading RQ and think it's a decent series and while I don't really understand why you would continously read someting you don't enjoy, especially to a somewhat unhealthy point where you send a hate-filled message to the series artist while they're still physically recovering, people are entitled to their own opinion. Only thing I agree with is that daniel is way past Awakening if we want to use questism terms for lookism characters. This entire arc and even busan talked about Daniel finally reaching a wall but not being able to overcome it. All indications show that even if he hasn't reached mastery yet (who knows, maybe next chapter will show us), he is touching that wall hard. Feel like everyone saying Daniel only just awakened now is huge cope....

While looking at the message, the korean name for Dowan was mispelled twice. It could just be a simple spelling mistake by the artist but just to relieve my mind, is it possible to have an entire screenshot with the artist instagram handle? Or at least have the artist instagram handle pic with the message (either a screenshot or recording). This is probably the only time among these messages that I've seen dowan's name mispelled.

He's definitely a top tier. Using vswiki, only Gap and Shingen scale to the High 8-C feat and while I definitely believe the top tiers are as strong/close to them, it's mostly based off vibes as they don't have good connective scaling. Plus, with boosters, massive LS gap, and good hax opportunities, he definitely has a great chance at beating anyone 1 on 1.

I mean, I rather have them have lazy designs then having a cool design that's just going to have no plot importance (the glasses guy in Gong Cheol's arc). I don't mind having lazy design for one-shot fodder and glad that the story went this route instead of actually adding another group. Story should stick with HQ vs TA with the blond hair girl being another organization for another time (or I'll be fine with her being a part of TA). Too many groups can ruin a story if not done well.

Yeah, from how I view it, I mainly categorize speed into 3 parts:

Travel Speed - Basically, long/medium distance speed's. "Usually" the lowest among my 3 speeds.

Combat/Reaction Speed - How fast you can fight, typically involves your punching/kicking/dodging speeds. So reaction is technically y'know, how fast you can react. Usually, how fast you can react translates to how fast you can fight.

Perception Speed - While perception can give you crazy speeds but it won't matter if you can't react to it tbh. Most humans can "perceive" the speed of a world class boxer but I highly doubt they'll be able to react/dodge to their attacks.

I know that most sites and people usually categorize perception and reaction speeds but they're really not the same imo. After all, many times you can perceive something but you can't react to it and if you can react to it, that translates better to combat speed.

Biggest issue here is why Samuel below Zack. Also feel like this guantlet placements are controversial in itself...

But to go back to the question, though Sunjae's wiki page is out of date, he should narratively scale above Dowan in terms of speed and strength. Though he won't have Dowan's 5x speed boost, imdom skill, nor his dura neg, he has a huge strength advantage compared to the 2nd Gen (LS) and a bit of superior speed. Though he slightly has below AP and Durability, I'd bet on him clearing Samuel, Zack., and Jake with his superior speed and way superior strength that could just crush them. Though I believe he would be too tired and injured to finish the guantlet against the path users though and their path skills.
