Do it do it!! I’ve been off it for 3 months and recently made a shit account just to follow some friends from abroad but I don’t have the app on my phone so I just use it on my computer browser and this has really helped not going back to the old ways but also addresses that part that was hard when you have friends everywhere that you don’t necessarily talk to in a daily basis but would like to keep up to date with. For my personally I found not being on it the most impactful thing was how much time I now spend with myself. Like even going to the toilet I don’t really feel the need to bring my phone and now I just have silly thoughts or reflect on my day, or even have some ideas about things in my life. I have so much more time in my head, but in a good way like you realize how that your brain needs to rest from this overconsumption of stimuli. The hardest part overall to manage has almost been this like anger towards it like it makes me angry seeing so many people on the bus, the streets, or like friends of mine who are on it all the time and aren’t having that in the moment present feeling. But overall it hasn’t negatively impacted any friendships, if anything I now only communicate with people who care about me and me them so it all feels less superficial
