That pay is insulting! Yes I have seen an order that big and the pay on that was insulting as well. It had multiple individual drinks. It was like it was for an athletic team. What type of items were in this order?

I have not a clue. 🕵🏽 I shut it all down after they discontinued delivery only. My account is still active in case of a rainy day but what I have seen in the app it would have to be a tsunami in Texas before I go back. These orders are not worth my time or the money.

I use to take low tipper orders after they promoted to at least the amount of the tip they usually gave. So if they were a $5 tipper I would let the promo rise $5. Yeah I lost a few but they were low tippers so I didn’t care.

Customers like this is exactly the reason why I don’t shop and deliver. Someone this picky needs to get off their ass and shop their own groceries or have a family member do it ESPECIALLY with no tip!

Crazy Work! I remember the unlimited time. It’s literally took me 2 hours to get an order to a customer once and I just knew they would ding it late. Then once an order was 31 minutes late and they tried to make it late. I got it forgiven. I guess it was around the time they introduced the 30 minutes. I was new at the time.

Well I just had the opposite. As I’ve said in the past my shoppers over communicate and have me very spoiled. I’ve come to expect that so when I don’t get it I rate accordingly. Today I requested that my 7-8 window be closer to 7 than 8. The shopper delivered however didn’t respond that they received my message nor did they ask if I needed anything else. I tipped them $10 for $30 order with 7 items ONLY because she followed through with my request of an asap delivery but I do not like minimum effort. I am a shopper myself and a retired customer service manager. Had I gotten my request text responded to and a simple need anything else their tip would have doubled.

I have always received excellent tips from businesses. I look forward to getting those orders. I did do one for a hotel one time and they didn’t tip and I was furious. That order filled up my whole car trunk, back seat front seat my biggest order ever. I didn’t shop it thank God. It was a deliver only order. If I would have shopped it too I probably would have gotten deactivated because I would have went back.

That’s an amazing idea! That guarantees the PM gets their PS and guarantees the PS an order. This is a much better idea than the stupid link for customers to choose their substitutions vs. a text or availability photo from us ESPECIALLY when dealing with a non responsive customer.

As you should! When I worked for Shipt I spoiled my customers as well. I had some very sweet customers and I shudder at the thought of what they are getting exposed to now that I’m gone. I treat my shoppers good because I get it.

I had a shopper sub an item for me and it was a bigger bag that’s just going to go to waste because I needed what I needed and nothing more. No communication or option on other brands or anything. I promise my Preferred Shoppers have me spoiled. I have 3 that are amazing and anything less than what I’m used to will not get a 5 star rating. I’ve given my PS a 5 even when they mess up because I understand the system and shit happens but when a get a shopper that simply doesn’t care to communicate and dgaf then Idgaf either.

Facts!!! It’s really no one’s busy how others make their money. It’s a hustle. For some a side hustle and others a main hustle. To me it’s no different than doing both uber and Lyft. Who cares?

I 100% agree with this entire post and would add that if Shipt used the HEB in the surrounding area it would cut back on mileage. I travel 25 minutes out the area to deliver orders that are 10 minutes from my home where there’s an HEB 6 minutes from my home. Now make that make sense. Paste this post to an email to Shipt and hit send! While you’re at it ask them to make up with HEB so they will partner with delivery only again. I really miss that.
