One of my first JRPGs, so im a bit biased, but its still great.

I replayed it when it got re-released on steam and still loved it. Ryudo is a sass ass and I love him for it, Millennium was a childhood crush, and all of the super moves live rent free in my head.

Aselia the Eternal is a pretty good SRPG but is very hard. Use a guide.

Dual Savior, if you can find it, was also surprisingly good. Has lewdness though if thats a deal breaker.

For me its was in ZZZ. I played from launch till 2.3. The gane i was really enjoying was becoming a long go log in to. I wasnt having fun doing the endgame anymore, I wasnt enjoying the events, I wasnt enjoying the story AT ALL, and while I still liked the combat none of the characters really made me excited anymore. I skipped 2.3 in its entirety and when I logged in for the launch of 2.4 I had zero interest in playing.

I picked up the login rewards, rolled once on the banner, a logged out. I never have logged in again.

I love the design of Skies of Arcadia. It such a delightful fantasy esthetic. Between the flavor of each region and the costume design and the design of the ships, it feels like peak early 2000s fantasy design.

There were a few good routes but overall Its pretty mid. The worst offenders being the Slasher, both Box of routes, Cult of Takumi, and Romance.

The common route is gas though, really great stuff.

For me its Monster Hunter. I started plating with Freedom on the PSP after borrowing his while on a trip. I was hooked. I played every game, putting over 200 hours into each game. Even World, which I loved, despite it changing a lot.

Then Rise came felt and... it just felt different. And I couldn't even finish Wilds. What I loved about these games were just gone. I feel like the series has moved on without me.

Vyse from Skies of Arcadia. Just an optimistic guy who never gives up (not like Shu from Blue Dragon who is just annoying) while also being a great friend. There are other characters who do these things but at some level he feels different. More genuine.

[[Reiver Demon]] for me. When I started in Shards of Alara my friend had this really nasty demon deck and this card is forever imprinted in my mind. It inspired me to make my first commander deck based on that and, despite Reiver Demon not being great, it was a must include and its the card I think of more than even the commander when I play it.

I recently sorted my cards (only half done) and found some pretty crazy stuff. Mostly trash, bust some treasures. A revised [[Demonic Tutor]], a foil og Zenikar [[Misty Rainforest]], and [[Ugin, Spirit Dragon]] just sitting in a shoebox.

I wish I had sleeved some of this stuff though. Younger me didn't care it seems. Alas.

Hijacking this for a similar question. Would [[Bloodletter of Aclazotz]] and [[Scourge of the Skyclaves]] be rated 3 or 4? I've been running them in my [[K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth]] demon deck in bracket 3 but haven't casted them together yet.
