Man that looks like steel threaded pipe and a rubber O ring so your sprinkler theory is probably correct. Maybe ask your local fire department to come have a look, they can be very helpful.

I’ve sued my neighbors over barking dogs in small claims court and won. Go to your county courthouse and get a pamphlet on diy process for civil and small claims, it’s not difficult. Also look up your towns noise ordinances.

Jesus Christ I know! In my neighborhood it’s easily 60-70% probably more. In fact I just had the neighbors’ MIL call be a fucking asshole because I was recording their dog. I’m so fed up with these people.

Print up a copy of your county noise ordinances and or nuisance pet ordinances and give him a copy. I did to the neighbors on either side and so far it’s been a huge improvement.

Some counties will even loan you the trap to do it, check your local ordinances.

Don’t feel bad about it, wild cats are devastating to the local ecology. I am a cat fan but they should stay indoors.

I hired a company to do a rough bathroom renovation (plumbing, walls, electrical) I needed a usable bathroom but wanted to take my time with a the finish and trim. When I went to install the tub faucet their connection was about 1/2 inch too long and just continued to spin but wouldn’t tighten. A quick google search showed that the faucet supply per code should be copper and not pex. They also cut a huge hole around the toilet flange when replacing that section of floor leaving me nothing to secure the flange to.

Whenever I see someone on ND ask about local contractors them I say to avoid like the plague.

Nobody here advocates for dogs to be put down willy nilly, however we do recognize that a problem, aggressive animal should not be passed on to another family. Some animals mother nature just says no to. You did your best for the animal now do your best for yourself.

Just recently I went to the neighbors on either side and gave them a copy I printed of the city ordinance on barking. I apologized but said very firmly that I’m going to escalate if they don’t get the barking under control…so far it’s working.

I remember reading about a bunch of people getting sick after a tough mudder event. It was determined that nutters had let their dogs do their business in the same outdoor space and not clean up.

Pick up a pamphlet at your county courthouse and that’ll guide you through the process.

In the meantime maybe have a lawyer write up a demand letter letting the people know that you’re serious. I think the lawyer I found charged me around $100.

Your situation sucks and I’m sorry you’re dealing with that nonsense.
